If its an Admin ban then you could be on a community ban list. this is basically an unofficial shared ban list between a group of servers, Only thing you can do is contact the admin of one of the servers and see if they can give you more info on which ban list they are using so you can appeal your ban. Or just keep trying different servers until you find ones that are not using the ban list. Might help if you let us know which servers/mod varient you were trying to join. Also, get a screenshot of the ban message. -

If you don't want to be part of it you either try to escape or disconnect, the end result is no different to if they'd just shot you, except if you play along there a possibility that you might escape. -

They can try to take the ideas from the standalone, but just porting over the code is unlikely to work as its essentially a totally separate game. -
Ha, yeah a lot of private hives add things here and there, the only way to be sure its 100% vanilla is to use the official server files. flames. white and the really ratty looking skin are vanilla, anything else has been added.

They have implemented the network bubble and tests have shown that the server isn't quite performing as they would like and needs a bit of optimization before they release. This seems very reasonable to me, and to be expected when making such a huge change to how the game works. Would you prefer they just release the game in an unplayable state and ignore obvious issues that need to be fixed first? -
I don't think it is correct, Rocket has said that loot will spawn at server start opposed to spawning when a player enters an area,But i don't think he has said anywhere that will be the only time loot will spawn. Seems to be people jumping to conclusions.

Personally i don't think either bandit or hero skin should have any camo properties, especially the bandit skin, it looks cool as it is, nether mind making it practical too. Would love to see the OldMoto added, Though the USMC motorbike isn't actually in Vanilla dayz, but is often added by private hives.

After about 3 hours a busy server will often start to experience bad dsync and lag, the reset cleans the server of all unnecessary objects, Its not by design, its just necessary due to how Arma servers work, Arma was never designed with the idea of persistent missions like dayz. The standalone should be much better though.

We talking mod or standalone? For the mod its recommended that servers are restarted every 3 hours. thats for a busy 40-50 pop server.

Nice update, especially like the limited use on matches, Does removal of the Sa-58 mean im going to be without a gun when i next login or is it just removed from the loot table?

Look at it this way, if the option to handcuff wasn't there they would most likely just kill you anyway. at least this way you'll get the option to either ride it out in the hope of escaping somehow or disconnect and die. If you get disconnected while handcuffed for whatever reason the end result is no different to if they'd just shot you in the head. And really, the actual chance of losing connection while handcuffed is so low its not worth worrying about. -
Gender select should be working for public hive servers. Most private hive servers dont have it because it conflicts with custom loadout scripts.
