The sun beat down at us. Just me and a mate, poking through some barns on the west of Elektro. I remember it clearly. He was standing just outside a warehouse, I was just inside. I heard noise; an engine. A second later, a bright red car smacked into my friend, sent him 20m easily. Dead on impact. To say the least, this caught me by surprise. But immediately I noticed something. The car wasn't moving. Well, not very fast. The engine was revving and the tires were spinning, this driver was attempting to back up and have a go at me. Thankfully, the mud effectively prevented that. I couldn't let my mate die in vain, and besides, there were 4 people in this car. I didn't have a choice. Un-slinging my Lee Enfield rifle, I brought the butt up to my shoulder and fired into the wind shield. A second later, Another round followed. And another. I hit the front passenger first, but he must have only been hit in the arm, as he got out of the car and looked pissed. An M16A2 was in his arms. Not good. A .303 drilled a nice hole in his chest before it came up to bear though. His body went limp. Before I know it, there are 4 dead people, 5 including my mate. And a freaking car. Those who say God doesn't exist, well he just delivered 4 very well equipped bandits into thine hands, and a CAR. Looting their bodies was very beneficial. The afore mentioned M16A2 with 7 STANAG magazines, medicinal supplies.. I took everything of worth and dumped it into the boot. To my glee, there was also 4 full jerry cans in there. I babbled excitedly into my radio, informing my scattered allies of my grand score. There were 2 more. One found an M24 by random chance in a medium yield residential home I believe. He thought HE was lucky. I picked them up in the space of about 5 minutes, and my re spawned mate. There were 4 of us. Never had I felt so free. We visited all the main cities, and the air fields in the space of a couple hours. Also found a helicopter crash (empty :( ). Scored myself a M16A2 with M203, and a couple grenades for it. Life was good. We filmed this video here in the NWAF. Turns out cars make it very, very easy.The night ended though, like all good things. One of us tried to jump over the bonnet and glitched himself inside the engine bay. Died suddenly. Sad. We put his gear in the boot. Then another jumped in the car and decided to play silly buggers. Drove off on me, I told him stop, or I WILL shoot (after making a remark about not even being able to try my M203). He stopped on my count from 7 at 2. Lucky. I ran up, but close to the door, he sped off again. Now, I love a joke, but that particular one wears thing very quickly. And though I'd never fired a 203 before, the car exploded in flames about 70m away from me. I regret nothing, despite the M24 being in the boot. It was an awesome night. My only regret is murdering Betty, our little red car.

Angels of Mercy. I am starting an... Affiliation... Does not matter where you live, what server you play on, or if you are in a clan. If you are mature and seek to rebuild this broken wasteland, come to us. What will make a good angel of mercy? You must be patient. You must recognize that there will be those who seek to destroy us. In the beginning, you WILL die. A lot. Your aim should be to help supply other survivors. Give them food, medication, ammunition. In time, I hope to bring trust back into this world. My directive: -Never fire first. EVER. The only exception to this are people who have been cast out if our circle. -Set up tents on the outskirts of main cities. Stock them with water bottles, tools, and sidearms. Anything to help survivors avoid the deathwatch that is costal cities. -Help fellow Angels first, then survivors. --------------- Anyway. The challenge was laid out. If you want to see a change in gameplay, it will be up to us to do it. Devs won't do it for us. This group is intended to be big. No restrictions. This isn't a typical clan. This is supposed to be more of a world-wide symbol that though another person may be in another clan, or faction, they are also an angel and mean you no harm. We will have identifiers to tell each other apart, which I'll tell you after you are accepted (prevent people from mimicking with malicious intent) Post in here, with your thoughts. People can be expelled from this faction. The only way for this to happen is betraying another angel, or initiating a gun fight. If you witness an angel giving aid, and he is gunned down, you may dispatch the attacker. In fact I encourage you to work in pairs to this end. I will keep a list of people in the next post, of survivor and forum names. If you are expelled, your name will be crossed out. This mark will never be taken away. Also I am aware of bandits attempting to infiltrate us for easy picks. If you see an angel acting in a hostile manner, tell me directly, and I will put out the word to everyone else to monitor him.

Scavenger hunts would be cool. They'd have to be near land marks though.

C'mon plasmafrog. Are you that special? This whole thread is iseless. You criticize a game for being buggy in a alpha stage. Honestly. This game is more stable than a lot of freaking betas of played. Your comment basically says "This game is in its buggy stage and I don't like the bugs in it, fix it please".

Some people say its too hard. Some people say its too easy. I say leave it as it is so you can at least piss everyone off that way >.>

If it was an option, like, you had to earn that clothing, I'd like it. Perhaps I wouldn't get shot so much when shouting out "FRIENDLY! I HAVE FIRST AID!" if I had a red and white cross on me. I like the idea but I don't think it'll happen. I hope it does though.

Subduing people with rope - yes. Working your way out of knots - no, a properly tied knot will not come undone. They should be cut free by winsome with a hunting knife and nothing else. Passing out to die later - yeah that seems cool. It's already kind of like that. I've had people shoot me, pass out, they loot me and run off. With requiring someone to cut your ropes, there would be no point to logging. You just fled your best chance of escape. Beyond that, it's the same logging bug we already have. To bind someone, you need rope in your inventory, and they need to stay crouched still for the duration. Standing or moving will cancel it. When bound, it's the same as being unarmed, except you can't loot. Seems pretty simple to me.

This has been suggested so many times already. None of this items will restart a stopped heart. But then, by the time someone dies in this game, their body is usually in a condition that would prevent resuscitation anyway.

You think possibly that's how the system already works? Painkillers for small injury, morphine for broken legs..? I don't often notice the shakes because i like 3rd person, but all I can see is vet servers with no 3rd person becoming mighty pissed at not being able to relieve the shakes! FFS what are painkillers supposed do do in your opinion?? I think prevent your character from enduring pain works quite nicely at the moment..

Or, you could search and realize its been suggested so you don't post the same thing over and over. In all honesty though, I'd prefer a smaller boost to blood when eating and regeneration when green. Also, It's not hard to get started. Just learn how the game works. It's not hard.

Please tell me, have you ever had a decent drink from tilting your head back in the rain? This is suggested almost daily.
