I'm a bandit that's killed several other bandits purely because they tend to have good gear. Plus they've honed their skills on killing other players, I can't afford to keep them running around near me when I have an opportunity to kill them.

Best to shoot them twice just in case, most will alt+f4 if they're not killed instantly, robbing you of your well earned rewards.

Bandits are criminals, they're opportunistic scavengers who enjoy killing and looting. If they see another player with better gear they'll kill them and take it, regardless of whether or not they're bandits.

Get yourself a scope, CZ550's are realllly common in barns and then just camp beaches/electro/cherno till you get good enough gear to head to the NW Airfield.

Is there a connection between ghillies suits and it happening? I've got a ghillie and it's happened to me twice, I've seen a few others saying they had ghillies as well.

If you find a weapon that isn't a rocket launcher and it makes you drop your backpack, it's a hacked item. I won't get into the ethics of using a hacked item, but I can assure you you won't get banned for using it, but it's best to put it on a dead body and then hide it. /thread

The only problem is it's incredibly easy to break a leg in this game because of all the glitches, at the moment the morphine doesn't make sense but it's instant bone healing abilities are desperately needed. Changing the name of morphine to a split would be a better option because otherwise having a heal over time leg would just be horrible.

I'm having this problem as well, I spawned half dead and without any of my gear, luckily managed to find food and make it to Electro where I could serverhop the supermarket and get myself back up to 12,000 blood from less than 4000, which I don't have to tell you, takes a reeeally long time, after I finished I logged off and when I came back I lost it all again. I don't see the point of playing DayZ if I'm just going to lose my items randomly.
