Hi, Im new to DayZ, I've just downloaded the game and the mod. I have DayZ commander and everytime I try to open up a server, I get this message: "Data file too short 'C:\Program Files(x86)\Bohemia Interactive\AmrA2\@DayZ\addons\dayz.pbo. Expected 25269223 B,got 12582146 B" I have no idea why I am getting this, or how. Can someone please help???

Hi everyone and anyone reading this I'm newish to DayZ, I recently bought ArmA2 Combined Operations on the 18/10/12 (10/18/12 for you Americans :B) I have been for some time watching people play this epic mod, for this awesome game, such as Devil Dog and Sidestrafe. I've been a not so active member of this site, but I've been here and their looking at this and that ;). As just said, I've just started playing, and there is a couple of things that have been bugging me, how do you go into 3rd person view, and also how do you exit a vehical? I've looked everywhere on the control menu, but cant find either of them. Also I'm playing on a shitty laptop that wasn't really made for these sorta games, it plays them but they're laggy as hell even with low graphic performance and low 3D effects but is there a way anyone know that'll make my laptop run this better, i dont know what moddel it is, but if you say something that'll help me out, could you please not put it into a language computer geeks can only understand as that 'does not compute' with me, and i'll try to do that thing that you suggested. I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in here and doing some serious zombie killing. I've already met some people, a player and some guy in a guilley suite...freaked the hell out of me, I was in my pack, came out of it and there was some green bush standing in front of me holding a pistol at me, i told him i was new and unarmed and then he left without killing me...best day so far anyway Thanks, Oh and if it matters to anyone, my name tag thing is Pvt. If they release DayZ on console, it'll be full of 12 year old kids like CoD zombies is. (i cant remember a time when there wasnt a little shit telling me how to play or in general being annoying). Although I dont have a good enough PC to play DayZ on, it needs to stay on PC. IT WAS DESIGNED FOR PC, IT SHOULD STAY ON PC.

I don't own a DayZ game account :(, or for that fact Arma 2 but I am a huge fan of watching people like Sidestrafe and Devildoggamer explore the 225 km vastness of Chernarus.
