See now I really prefer this thought out response to the 13 year old name calling response I got before you.EDIT- Now to include why I consider things to be like, how you are in DayZ, you are in real life. I basically really hate my life, yadda yadda details, and i find DayZ to be better. The life of my character is just so much better than mine, so I just get into it, and put MYSELF in the game to be exactly who I am, just living in a better world, with a better life. As in real life, all I have are suicidal thoughts. So I just like to get away from all that on DayZ, and sometimes I get too far into it that I forget that it ISN'T real life (Due to a hallucinatory effect of a mental disorder I have) and consider everyone in DayZ, to be the same as I'd see them in the real world. So I'd just like to say thank you for actually explaining that. But definitely no thank you to the guy who found it fun to tell me I'm ignorant because of mental problems I have.

I've been at my character's own end game for a week now. So what do I do? I help others reach theirs. Not ruin their chances of ever getting there o_o I do not understand why someone would do something like that.

But are you not who you are? Would you not always act as you do? I mean I understand roleplayers making a new them in games, but from the looks of it you're not a roleplayer. So if you're not roleplaying wouldn't you just be being you?

What he said was more directed to the fact that he's here playing a zombie survival game and chooses to just kill everyone else he sees. As that is not the point of the game at all, even to the slightest. COD and BF are made for killing others without a care in the world, DayZ isn't. Don't even dare call his comment retarded, it makes perfect sense. The only reason you show up and verbally assault it is because he's going against someone that probably plays a very similar way to you.In all honesty, I fully agree with him. If you're just here to kill people, go to a game that's made for that. This is DayZ, a zombie survival MMORPG. Not COD.

No....hell no. I earn what I have because that's the point of the game. I'm supposed to lose it when i die and only then, by simply wiping out everything that everyone including myself has, how the hell would the devs be any better than hackers? That's just stooping to their level if you erase the things people actually earned.

People really are right about it affecting your brain and your dreams especially. Since a few days after I started playing this, up til today, every night all I dream about is running around covered in ghille with a weapon, trying to kill off zombies and scavenge supplies with my friends. Even the intense moment of meeting another 'player' is there, when i see another person in my dream and cannot decide whether to trust them or kill them or run. It's a bit tiring on my mind, as these dreams make me wake up being pretty tired, as if i had just run many miles across forests to places and from zombies, but it's also quite....intriguing and...fun. I'm actually not sure why I posted this...I guess, just to say it? Any comments are welcome though.

I got one. Once I was in a relatively quiet nighttime server, five people online. Myself, two friends of mine, and a friend of one of my friends, along with a stranger. I was in Solnichny finding my friend's friend and I saw him too, just southeast of me waving a flashlight around. And suddenly I hear shots go off, so I prone down and say into my skype call, "Shots fired, there's another player here stay low." So I go to investigate. Just north of me I see an UNARMED player crawling across the road. It doesn't click in my mind yet that he couldn't have fired, until I hear more shots, coming from behind him in a bush. (The flashes were nice and bright with each shot.) So I zoom in, and find nothing. So I give up eventually and get my friend's friend, when I do, i hear more shots and suddenly..the only other person in the server dies. We then ran from the town going west to meet up with two friends that were quite a distance away. And all I hear is a vehicle...i couldn't tell what. It was like a mix between a UAZ or a Helicopter or something, and it wouldn't go away. Yet none of my friends could hear it, until a bit later, one of them said they heard something. I wasn't sure what they heard, i just assumed it was the same thing I did. Later when we were near Little Hill, i went down the hill by myself to hunt some food, and at this point it's just us four, no other players. One of them's in Mogliveka, two at the top of little hill behind me. Suddenly I see something in the field, a person, seeming to hold a gun, but then he looked towards me and suddenly seemed unarmed, and with an accidental trigger finger over my keyboard, i accidentally turned off my night vision. Back on, and he's gone. I go kill an animal and take it's meat, and I look up by the forest, and suddenly see something run by and stop in a bush. Then the server entered it's regular reset schedule One of the scariest things I've ever experienced in DayZ.

It really does. Especially when you play it all day every day XDLongest I've ever played at once was 24 hours.

And these dreams flash in my vision randomly during the day too....I mean to most people I guess this would be quite unsettling and scary to most, just 'hallucinating' this kind of stuff during the day and waking up all tired due to dreaming about it all night. But I have a few strains of depression, one that causes hallucinations as well, so I'm quite used to this kind of thing already. And I guess this whole dream thing is like, a good incentive not to become a bandit huh? Dream about like..killing people or something. o_o

But it's more like real life. Like there's no 3rd person. I feel exactly like myself, not like I'm in a game. It's all like..real life....but DayZ. In dreams. It's strange. Cause for the most part I'm just...trying to survive and help my friends. Yet that's exactly how I play the game too i guess...so I guess your dreams really do reflect your playing style.

I don't kill XD Ever. I've never fired on a player, even one that was a few meters away unable to see me yet.

Can you guys perhaps message me? I believe we share a server now and I'd like to talk to one of you.

A few things.1. "Do these servers exit yet?" "YET?" Are you kidding me? You say "Yet" as if they're in the process of making them, or planning to make them. This is just a stupid selfish desire of yours to make them game more in your favor while you're busy running around cherno or elektro like an idiot. They don't make server customizations just because a new player doesn't like things that actually end up killing him. 2. "I want the choice to play with no snipers." Yeah, well no one really cares what you want. Especially if it's something that would hinder everyone else's gameplay, for the benefit of yours and make running around cherno and elektro like an ass easier for lazy, not-stealthy people like you. 3. "I think it makes the game stupid." Yeah. A weapon in like, EVERY shooter game, makes this one game stupid, just cause people with this weapon kill you. Yeah. How about a bunch of people have AKMs and run up to you shooting you on auto killing you nonstop? Do those make the game stupid? Are you gonna cry about those now? OH OH. How about the stronger pistols that people can shoot you with and kill you with? If you die from those should those be removed? Crossbows? What if someone silently kills you? You gonna whine about not being able to tell where you got killed from? Yeah. Just cause something doesn't work in YOUR benefit, doesn't make the game stupid. You're the only stupid thing in existence on this entire thread from what I can see. If you don't like how the game is, don't play it. Don't come on the forums, selfishly expecting the developers to create a whole new game mode where snipers aren't allowed, JUST FOR YOU. I've seen it among loot, but I don't see how it works exactly. It seems pretty useless.
