  1. Most people log in during the early evening (CST)... Additional information can also be found here: http://forum.ponyville.net/index.php?/forum/46-dayz-private-ponyvillenet/
  2. Good evening all... I was trying to find a list of commands or scripts that are used by hackers to check against the logs, but I can't seem to find anything... However, from reading through other people's bans, I think I found a few potential hackers (along with some other oddities)... User 1: User 2: User 3: User 4: User 5: User 6: User 7: User 8: User 9: User 10: User 11: User 12: User 13: These are just the major ones that stuck out... There were a number of others that I had questions on, but wanted additional information before I posted their info here... What is "z_doctor"? I've seen numerous instances of this... I've also seen a lot of "pipebomb", "soldier1_DZ", and "seagull".... Also one instance of "ParachuteWest"... Are these legit items obtainable in the game or is it indicators of additional hacking/cheating occuring? I would love some additional guidance so I can help bring my server under control, since numerous users have been complaining about hackers and cheaters running rampant... Thank you, Pinkamena

Few oddities in the log files

After some additional research, found support that the following entries were malicious... User 11: No action taken - Not sure what was going on here, but can't determine if it was malicious or not. Banned - Supported from other Day Z ban logs that this is malicious. User 12: No action taken - Not sure what was going on here, but can't determine if it was malicious or not. Banned - Fail attempt at scripting. User 13: No action taken - Not sure what was going on here, but can't determine if it was malicious or not. Banned - Evidence from other Day Z ban logs suggest this is malicious That is all...

Few oddities in the log files

Some additions to the list here... User 1: Cracknjello - Banned - Vehicle spawning User 2: Naxxramas - Banned - Vehicle spawning User 3 & 4: Husker & Death - Banned - Executing kill player script [Reference] User 5: The Nice Guy - Banned - Vehicle spawning User 6: Anal Frostbite - Banned - Spawning structures, spawning USVehicleBox, teleporting (?), multiple helicopter explosions within a few minutes of each other I suppose I should start compiling a laundry list of these bans for submission for global bans :\

Few oddities in the log files

Well, after doing some research and asking around, here is what I came up with... User 1: Banned - AmmoBoxBig spawning User 2: Banned - Attempting to spawn a weapon not in Day Z {Bo_GBU12_LGB} User 3: Banned - AmmoBoxBig spawning User 4: No actions taken - No conclusive evidence of seagull being used for unintended purposes. Possibility that this may pop up upon logging into the server. User 5: Banned - AmmoBoxBig spawning User 6: Banned - AmmoBoxBig spawning User 7: No actions taken - No conclusive evidence of seagull being used for unintended purposes. Possibility that this may pop up upon logging into the server. User 8: Banned - USBasicWeaponsBox spawning User 9: No actions taken - Still no conclusive answer on whether "PipeBomb" is a legit item or not. User 10: Banned - USBasicWeaponsBox spawning User 11: No action taken - Not sure what was going on here, but can't determine if it was malicious or not. User 12: No action taken - Not sure what was going on here, but can't determine if it was malicious or not. User 13: No action taken - Not sure what was going on here, but can't determine if it was malicious or not. Some answers I've found... z_doctor is the skin for the zombie doctor in game... Without verifying whether the player looked like the zombie doctor in game, this could just be an instance of a zombie doctor spawn... Treat as innocuous unless there is evidence otherwise... Seagull which is the in game spectator mode for Arma II could potentially be being used for malicious intent, but it also could be legitimate while a player is loading into the server... Same as with z_doctor, treat as innocuous unless evidence supports otherwise... Still no answer as to whether "PipeBomb" is legit or not, especially when in the logs there are large blocks of people spawning/obtaining them... I think at last count, I had one player that had 121 instances of it within a few minute span... Seems suspect, but I'm still waiting on additional guidance... Thanks again, hope this helps some others... Pinkamena
