    dayz-newcastle.co.uk - Private Hive (Whitelisted)

We have re-opened public whitelisting, limited to around 70 extra members. If you'd like to come and play with us, please feel free to make a whitelist request at http://dayz-newcastle.co.uk

    dayz-newcastle.co.uk - Private Hive (Whitelisted)

We are somewhat overwhelmed by the positive response and immediate popularity of the server, reaching up to 200 members in the first two weeks. For this reason we have chosen to cease public whitelisting temporarily, prospective members may still sign up provided they have a sponsor/vouch on the server. I will update this thread again once we return to public whitelist applications. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Side chat and Death Notifications are being trialled. We have a thread going on the dayz-newcastle.co.uk forums for feedback on it.

Hey, its all good in our book! We registered dayz-newcastle.co.uk on account of the fact we're from newcastle, but it's in no way exclusive to people from the area, we're really looking forward to having people from all over the place come play.. It's been a good night so far - Elektro is a killzone apparently.. have no intention of going down there! (scaredy cat)

We are hosted with Heart Internet. A few of us are IT professionals so we don't require the level of support that you'd expect with a managed server.

I saw it kikaz, we need your GUID so try and connect so we can add it.

I'm pleased there's been some interest in this, we have a few new friends to play with.

Haha yes, we have a little "afraid of the dark" problem, fortunately without hackers all over the place, NVG's are actually very rare!

Thats great, we don't have a clan or anything - its literally just a server.. People are free to make their own clans and have their own area on the forums should they wish. Welcome to the server mate!

Please do, we don't cater exclusively to Geordies but the 7 founders are all from Newcastle and we can't agree on the colour of...youknowwhat.. so dayz-newcastle was the logical route to go!
  11. Fellow survivors and bandits, Having run a public server for a very short amount of time it has become quickly apparent that due to the state of hacking/cheating/scripting and the total lack of server management ability provided, playing in the public hive has become something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. Following in the footsteps of Guidez, a core group of around 7 of us invite you to play on our private hive server over at http://dayz-newcastle.co.uk. Away from the main hive, some benefits of joining us are: - Whitelist based access from your unique GUID - The ability to perform "Rollbacks" on specific aspects of the hive incase of any hacker related issues - A freshly launched and friendly community. - Battleeye and anti-cheat enabled, meaning Global Banning is still a reality. - Starting afresh with others just looking to play legitimately. Instructions on how to get whitelisted can be found here: Here A list of frequently asked questions: Here Our dedicated server is run in a Birmingham Datacenter with the following game configuration: Timezone: GMT-6 Difficulty: Veteran 3DP: On CH: Off There are no clans, however we encourage people who are wanting to set them up to do so, if you form a clan we can give you a private section on our forums for you to organise things such as raids, trade kit etc. We are a freshly launching private server so everyone is starting in the same boat, we hope to see some of you soon! - Phantra http://dayz-newcastle.co.uk

    Newcastle/Sunderland??

Yeah, it's just dayz-newcastle.co.uk for historical reasons really. We're aged 25-29 mostly... Play during the evenings. Our server used to be UK 329 but we have now made it private, too many script kiddies and hackers, made playing legitimately pointless.

    Newcastle/Sunderland??

Hello chaps, was just forwarded here by a fellow geordie. We're setting up a batttleeye enabled private hive server on account of people CONSTANTLY hacking and scripting. The server is whitelist based.. we're in the process of getting everything sorted but the server is indeed up and running as of yesterday. http://dayz-newcastle.com We're really looking for people to help, there's a core group of about 7 of us, we also run a Minecraft server which is quite popular, we'll end up inviting those guys to play as well. Anyway, if you want to come along then please drop by, the forums are set up but literally launched a few hours ago. Once we have everything sorted an official post will be made, but now is a good time to get in and start scavenging.
  14. Ok - after some tinkering around it seems that Chernarus will *NOT* autoload for some reason, having tried a variety of run arguments etc, but I have a decent workaround for you. - Launch the server - Connect remotely - type / to bring up the chat box - Type #login yourpassword - Type / again to bring up the chat box - Type #missions - Select Chernarus, Mode: DayZ and choose the difficult level.. you must do all of these or it'll be messed up - Continue, map loads and your server is up and running Sorry I couldn't come up with an autorun solution but I have a ticket in with support about it and I'm waiting on any kind of response, theyre pretty busy. Have fun with your server mate
  15. I have got exactly this problem. I'll keep you updated if I find a fix. The map wil load if you run the map load command remotely when logged in as Admin, however it loads as "CO-OP" which is obviously wrong. It seems to me like Chernarus is simply not loading at startup, and I can not figure out why
