Were there any female characters in arma? Civilians or otherwise? Or will they need to be made from scratch?

Have you launched with the sixupdater? Fixes all of lifes problems.

I have found that my items and such are being saved but my position on the map is not. Every time I logged on today I found myself on the coast.

I was thinking of making a similar suggestion earlier, perhaps dark/demons souls style leaving helpful tips or spreading misinformation by placing notes and such. Would add a ton of immersion imo, should definitely be considered at some point.

It seems like you haven't tried updating and launching arma with the 6updater. The 6updater fixed my problems and is really nice for updating the DayZ files. I personally followed the guide on this forum - http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=107825.0 Good luck, and keep at it!

Game purchase only or.. free to play ONLY if the item purchases are visual improvements such as unique character skins, vanity items etc. Not sure about development, that should be your call, could get out of hand if the community dips into it too much.
