    Quick new player question.

Pretty sure I'm up to date. Using 96061 as far as I could see, was using SixLauncher before. Not just me having problems either, 2 of my friends having the same issues. Anybody know about the shore spawning problem? It that a bug or just the game thinking I am server hopping? EDIT: Thank you to HerrJon for answering spawning question, will remember that in future... Guess I'm stuck where I am again for a bit. Gonna be a long walk...

Yeah, just started using it for this reason. Not got time to play tonight to test it out but I couldn't really find a good server using it anyway which was annoying.

    Quick new player question.

Hi everyone. First off, really enjoying the game but I've had a bit of a grievance and I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or if it's a bug. Been playing recently and it's my understanding that locations are supposed to persist between servers and the like. However, what I find is that when I start into a sever, I always seem to be on the coast. The only reason I can think of as to why this is happening is because maybe the game thinks I am server hopping to avoid dying perhaps? I do find that sometimes I'll try and log into a server only to get in to it (after trying perhaps 8-10 servers and it getting stuck loading) and find it's incredibly slow and laggy despite having a low ping. When I try and find a different server I'll then be on the coast which is really frustrating as my friends I play with could be miles and miles away from me. Is there anyway I can solve this or will I just have to wait around so it does not think I'm server hopping? Also, is there anyway of finding decent servers? I've tried using DayZcommander and setting it to hide pretty much any problem I can think of and still I'll find it just gets stuck loading or is incredibly slow. When I do find a good server, I've been stupid enough not to write down the name... something I will do in future! Thanks for all replies!
