  1. Hi Bloodbullet, Unfortunately we do not have a test server up at this time. I am reluctant to post any servers that we are running because I feel it would be unprofessional of me to publicize any of our client's servers, but any of them are more than welcome to post in this thread if they want that information out there. We are currently provisioning a new server today and once we get our clients who are waiting for that up and running, I would be more than happy to setup a test server as well. I will post the information to our test server later tonight.
  2. Hi AOB Shadow, Hopefully one of our clients hops on and gives us a ringing endorsement. In the mean time, if you would like to email sales@dayzhostone.com we can answer any questions you have and help you in any way possible.
  3. Thank you for your interest in our hosting services. I sent you an email earlier this afternoon and I look forward to hearing back from you. Let me know if there is anything we can do for you.
  4. We are provisioning new servers today. All new clients who order after this post can expect a 1-2 day delay time in setup. As with all our services, we do not start the billing period until the your server is active.
  5. Thank you for the very kind review :) We are happy to have you as a customer and look forward to serving you further.
  6. I did not mislead anyone nor did I use scare tactics. I simply stated an opinion (that was completely independent of the fact that I am a host) that I am guessing the majority of people here would agree with. Actually, to "clarify", a VDS and VPS are the same thing. The terms are used synonymously with each other. You can argue 'shared' vs 'dedciated' resources, but that comes down to the host, not the term used. Google is your friend here, I'm not trying to have a virtualizartion debate. You do get what you pay for. Don't worry though, I didn't mind the dig. We are a new startup, but you aren't going to see any negative threads pop up on us here ;) I'll leave this thread to the op as I am sure his intent was not to have this discussion.
  7. A dedicated machine will always be the best option performance wise, but in most cases (unless the host is running multiple servers) those extra resources will go unused and the cost can double very easily. A VDS is synonymous with a VPS, though.
  8. WARNING: I'm a host and I am biased :) Based on that link you provided, VPS 1-3 would not be powerful enough to run even 1 server. VPS 4 might be able to run one server, but chances are it will lag tremendously and have horrible performance (especially considering their virtualization performance looks poor). VPS 5 could run two, but again, the performance would be horrible. *SHAMEFUL ADVERTISING TIME BELOW* Now, if you are looking for a VPS, I would be more than happy to help you :) Our unamaged DayZ servers are $35/month and you have 100% complete over everything through remote desktop. You are guarenteed one dedicated 2.8GHz Xeon (non-HT) core and share 7 more. If you want to run two servers, I will make a custom package for you, giving you two dedicated 2.8GHz Xeon cores (non-HT) and access to 6 more shared cores for $55. I will also provide unlimited bandwidth (for your DayZ servers) and will offer FREE DayZ server setup and we will provide the instance ID's. Shoot me a PM if you would like to know more or have any questions. I'll stop the shameful self-promotion now :) NOTE: while these are virtual private servers, they are ONLY permitted to run ARMA II servers.
  9. Hi Scopeshot, I'm not sure which particular email was yours, but I did finish responding to all the emails we had about 30 minutes ago. Let me know if I can assist you in any other way.
  10. I think you bring up a valid argument. I have edited my post as a result.
  11. That would be an incorrect assumption. Every server instance is guaranteed at least 1 CPU core.
