Same post twice on the same page. You really want that phase to catch on huh?

The only place they're confirmed as far as I know is the Ship north of Berezino, and enterable train stations like the ones at the enterences of Elektro and Cherno. Also as far as I know it is the only vest in the game that adds protection from shots. It takes 2 .45 shots to break, and 1 from everything else. They're also extremely rare. Something like 0.70% per loot spot.

Combat beyond mindless PVP? The games not mindless PVP unless you make it that. Thats my point. You can do what you want in the game. There shouldn't be any game modes or in game things that make you fight for territory. A territory is a "clans" territory if they want to try and hold it down and be bandits or check everyone that goes through.

That sounds awful imho. Once more content is added the game will become more enjoyable the later your character goes. The standalone will have more to do than the mod in terms of customization of vehicles and weapons alike, meaning you'll have to hunt harder to get exactly what you want. The more prone to illness and hunger/thirst is just punishing for those who don't run around on the shore and deathmatch.

As someone who just recently started the hero path, I was curious what weapons you other heroes use? Do you try to stick to something that will down someone in a shot like the Winchester? Do you try to stick with not as powerful guns that will down with headshots like the SMGs? Or do you use plain old fashion firepower just like a bandit would? Ive been using the Winchester recently to take out bandits, and also use it against survivors that haven't hit me but attempted to. That way I can down them, and only lose a small chunk of humanity, making me able to escape. Sometimes I even bandage them for a few humanity points before my escape and to make sure they don't die with their blood on my hands aha. Any opinions on the best hero weapon in your eyes? (Bandit input more than welcome) Thanks.

Yea? You're not very good at this trolling thing. I don't server hop to get loot, and let me know a server that his 30+ pop where this isn't a sniper or two camping barracks.

Does make sense. If its a bandit you'll still be able to kill them and if you don't play recklessly you can always get the jump. If someones not a bandit yet, but they attack you and miss, I'll lose less humanity if I defend myself to escape. See, I have yet to come across a m249, m240 (unless it was the in the chopper i owned for a whopping half and hour), or a mk48. They're a pain to find due to the high traffic of the airfield. Not a bad combo though.
