  3. I didnt sprint either, still collapsed within 5 hours. i ate and drunk.
  4. So instead of providing feedback, you decided not to? also dude, stop trying to be so hardcore, its just a game, how about you relax? Ignorant. i only used that term towards people who said loot is fine, my views are diverse. This issue may be, that australian servers seem to be on a 24 hour night cycle. I also havent gone to any military places. im assuming most people who say loot is fine, are playing on a day server? and their first run is straight to a military base?

  6. I love the game and its potential. im just providing feedback. Also, all you guys loving the game in its current state, are the same type of fools who believed sony when they said that when their playstations automatically turned off in the middle of a game, it was a feature. OWWWWW IMMERSION, SUCH SURVIVAL, MANY WOW.
  7. Yeah, took me like 2-3 hours to get from electro to stary, because i had to rest and walk (not run or sprint, walk). Else my guy would perma-faint and die. i love holding down the move forward button for hours, with nothing else in sight or anything to do. Compensation for realism needs work.
  8. Ive been in over 50 houses in 1 run, i usually find plenty of clothing. Nothing else much, if im lucky maybe an axe, maybe a screw driver. Food and drink is almost unheard of for me. I cant tell if youre being an ignorant elitist or just geniunely way luckier than me and my 3 friends, 3 runs. (9 runs)
  9. Point is to show how stupid the elitist snobs are when they say loot is fine. No i couldnt survive off that. my dude when unconcious (yes i rested). Fruit barely fills you up. and i couldnt open any cans. so i infact had no food. screw drivers and knives should now work, so it'll be abit better. Also i never spoke about any guns, you keep talking about me wanting guns. nah, i just want some food atleast. and a crappy rifle with low ammo wouldnt hurt, but thats not my point. Never asked for easy to find either, its not either hard or easy, im saying there can be an inbetween, quit being so elitist, its a game, not truck simulator 2002.
  10. Yeah thanks 1) Its a game, it's ment to be fun. The player base isnt into train simulator 2013 (theyre in train simular 2014) 2) boring, i do that in real life 3) Yeah, this is feedback 4) Too common lol? unless you mean pants, then yeah too common. Abit more food and water needs to appear. I dont want it super easy. but it needs to be better

    every server is dark

    Joined server, 5pm Aus time, daylight outside. Pitch black server, oh okay cool. Log back on at 1am, still dark. play til 4am, still dark. 11 hour night time, amazing. Especially since it wasnt following australian cycle and it doesnt follow any sort of east european cycle (night time usually from 10 - 6)

  13. Nah we need more Australian servers, because every friggin game i play, theres always americans on australian servers. Despite them having 10x more servers, they need to creep into the handful that we got. So, currently, its a welcome change.

  15. At around 13 mins, rocket says this. "We're about to get a new zombie, (just about to implement it), the solider zombie, but it probably wont make it in time for alpha" 1. It really sounds like he has a release date in his head 2. ALPHEURHRRRRRRRRRR OMG SU SUUUN!!!!!

  18. Dont think it will be days for a mag. I also hope ammo isnt super rare, since even in the standalone it seems like if zombies make eye contact with you, then you're going to bleed out. Guns can work in dayz, especially in the standalone. Just no sniper rifles and make the accuracy piss poor. Could have some fun street battles then.
  19. Yeah im just saying a currency needs worth. Bullets are well and good, but you wont get any sort of formal trading and currency setup.
  20. Thats fair enough. my developing experience is super minimal too. Although you can just google "Unity mmo" and im sure you'll find many projects with those criteria. Not realistic, wont happen. 1. Trade with a friend? Friend will give you items for free. mutual benefit. 2. Trade with unknown people? KoS is still going to be a big thing, plus, if you meet up with them, most likely friend them. Proper large scale player driven economy wont happen, it needs a push, i think a store could work, doesnt have to be crazy. Also imagine how guarded it would be, would be fun trying to fight your way through, or (unrealisticaly) create a trading hub.
  21. As compared to unity? More or less, you're describing a network bubble and procedural loading...Thats pretty standard stuff for any game studio on any engine.
  22. Ehhh what makes you say that? I personally am currently using unity and its honestly the future of game development. Their involvement in the community can be seen as similar as steam, yet an even better ethic. Now i havent tried to use unity with multiplayer, so who knows, but still... There are far better engines to use than ARMA...which is barely an engine. Also 1 character 1 server = Increased immersion, but might not work in practice due to some servers failing, dick admins and other things.
