Start with a flashlight, not flares

Man I like this idea. I would love to see everyone have to start out without a pistol and only a flashlight and a few more utilities. It isn't too fun when everyone owns a pistol. It would increase the difficulty in starting out, and the tension that is built when you run across a player wielding a weapon. -
Tents are not even worth the three inventory slots they take up at the moment. I'm not using them until they are 100% complete.

Also something to note. When you die while your tents are set up, you have two days to go and get your tent, and re-pitch it. There is an auto-deletion of tents after that. I guess that is to keep a million unused tents off the server to decrease lag.

Tents are not even reliable in their current state. So my advice is, don't use them.

I actually like this idea. This would definitely make people more frightened of Z's, knowing that there is a possibility of becoming one of them. Yeah It'd be cool to see something like this.

The Enfield over the CZ most definitely. Doesn't matter if one is louder than the other, they are both really f***ing loud. So it shouldn't matter which one you use at 100-200 meters. I prefer the Enfield, seeing as it has never failed in putting any target down for me, survivor or a walker.

Lol, I don't know what Arma your talking about, but the Arma I play, the wildlife pretty much beg for a bullet to the head by sitting nice and... still. All jokes aside, I agree. Maybe increase the speed of the wildlife, or give them a bit more awareness so that if they were to hear a gun crack off, they sprint away. That would give the survivors of Chernarus another way to fulfill their needs in terms of amusement. -
Only thing wrong with the zombies, is their zig-zagging ways of movement...

It pleases me to see you making an effort to ease things as far as 'shooting on sight', but I highly doubt this idea will work. Maybe when direct chat is sorted out and they remove the pesky global and side chat, until then, your best bet is to just wait for the mod to develop further. That's what me and my two friends are doing. We have plenty of good ideas that we want to try, but it is near enough impossible or pointless to try in the mod's current state. -
PLEASE slow the respawn rate of zombies - numbers are FINE :)

Does anyone know what the initialization command is for a compound crossbow? I was trying to make it so I spawn with one on the editor and I can't find the classlist name anywhere. I mainly just want to practice on the editor with a crossbow. Any suggestions would be awesome, thanks.

No, I've heard its a server setting. In my opinion its stupid and noob-friendly... Kinda lame if you ask me and it completely destroys the purpose of needing a GPS or having to recognize landmarks in order to pinpoint location. Definately needs to be addressed with Rocket and all server hosts because this kiddie-aid shit is dumb.
