No stick your dayz origins where the sun don't shine. It's NOT DAYZ or anything remotly like it and not needed. I'm guessing PK Richie is right and were being infested with origins gimps looking for more victims to take money from. Graveyard is a calling.... -
I'm still looking for the prision on Lingor :o all I've managed to find so far is a compound with 4 high value millitary barracks! Hardly what you would call a prision now is it???Those pics Hetstanine put up look pretty nice and having a proper prision(Lingor's excluded) would add a nice touch to the game play for those of us looking for some hardcore action :thumbsup:

It's common on private hives but not on public hives. You sure it was a public server and not private? -

To add a bit of fun to the server we now run bounties on the player with 20 or more player kills. Photographic/video evidence is required as proof of the kill. High value loot awarded to the successful hunter :) You can see who the current bounty is on @ our webby link in my sig. Have fun! -

I'm guessing thats the people you play with, all the people I play with don't have an issue waiting to get into a game. Good we don't want the counter strike/cod/bf crowd. I started playing dayz because IT WAS NOT BALANCED LIKE EVERY OTHER GAME OUT THERE, it is very unbalanced and I like that challenge. I want guys to have 50cals when all I have is a cz. I'm sick and tired of every game having every god damn weapon balanced against another one, its totally unrealistic and is just there to please the n00bs and ruins games. Rubbish! You don't want to spend as little as 2-3mins waiting to get into a game maybe you should find something else todo! Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Does not mean there right! Rockets not making a game for self entitled add cod/bf/cs kids. When are you people going to get that into your skulls? Oh Really?? So your an industry expert are you? What other intruiging in-sights have you for us all on the games industry, do tell????????? -
(SA) Military weapons are getting rarer, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be lots of guns to choose from.

The degradation system is a way however could you not counter act that by replacing parts for said weapons? I don't know if thats going to be possible however if the degradation system is in then you should be able to counter act it. reducing the drop rate is a good idea in principal however implementing it may be another idea althogether. Just thinking about maintaining a dynamic loot spawn chance, change synched across thousands of servers will introduce its own problems :) -

I've one question how rare is rare though? I've no doubth at the start all items whether they be guns, food whatever will be rare but just how long do you think it will be till people have hoarded enough that they won't be rare??? Or do you think this won't happen and all items will stay rare???? Just a thought! -

You'll be able to clear an area temporarly but they will repawn eventually. I think with the numbers of zombies and if there hearing is sorted it wont be hard to get a good size hoard after you :D

I think this is one of the better ideas I've seen in a long time. I agree with liquidcactus on the keys and maybe adding a few new mechanics for safe cracking, lock picking etc as you say the possibilities are endless.

We currently run a hardcore Namalsk server on Expert settings, none of your n00b crutches enabled, we also have bloodsuckers and evr enabled. There's only 16-18 vehicles on the map and you start with bandage,torch and painkillers nothing else. Were currently getting high numbers so it's brutal pvp for those that can handle it, but tons of fun :thumbsup: -

This is pure gold!I love how you start lets get rid of most of the millitary stuff and then add in all the millitary stuff you like using EPIC! Lets not forget either that Russia has probably more "millitary stuffs" as you put it around the country than probably any other nation on the planet so it's not unusual to see a lot of "millitary stuffs" And it's not really boring to be shot at 400meters it's dumb. How about actually looking around you before you go running head long into the open! All I'm seeing here is a bambi whining about getting killed.

Are you for real?? One sniping bandit can kill every n00b running around in the open yeah. Anybody with a brain could easily flank the single bandit in the hills and kill him.@Pokerguy I've fired handguns,shotguns,rifles and sniper rifles and I don't know what your talking about but once you learn how to handle the gun they are easy to hit with. -

What real players is this you speak of?And why would you increase to 10k? When 1. DayZ sets the max distance @ 1600 2. You can't see that far anyway. 3. Not one gun in Arma or DayZ fires anywhere close to that distance or range effectively. so please do explain what real players would set that distance for? oh nvm it's only the real people who want to enlarge their e-peen, how silly of me...

I don't know what db structure you have i.e bliss/reality or pwnorzs hive? If you have bliss/reality go to your survivor table and for your current alive char update your worldspace position to one of the earlier ones that are in there. Have no idea how to update pwnorzs as i've never used it.

Is this on a private or public server? Difference is if it's private you can get the admin to reset your position in the db, not sure if there's anything you can do on a pub server apart from contact the dayz support dudes. try pming one of the mods.

And why do you think people will change for the SA??They won't they will still try and kill you by any means they can. Just because guns and loot will be initially rarer don't mean jack, it will just take people longer to get weapons but the end result will be the same once they get tooled up they will then hunt players. Just because its the SA is not going to change that one bit. I'm not going to stop hunting other players cause its' the SA on the contrarary I'll be hunting players more than ever cause you know loot will be much harder to find and why not just kill another player and take his :thumbsup: -

To everybody that is still suffering from this bug. I and a few members of our community managed to get it sorted by deleting our Arma2 profiles and creating a new one. Now my character runs at the same speed as everybody else with no slowdown. -
