One word will solve this problem, punishment. Punishment for killing on sight, many games use the flag system, if you hit or shoot someone your name color changes and you can be killed without punishment. What kind of punishment? That's Rocket job.

KoS is the only way to play this game since killed unarmed players isn't punished, it's you or the other player, I try to avoid players with no gear but when I see anyone with a gun I shoot for the loot, that's the way it is and that's how the game was made. My advice, gear up in a low pop server, try to find NVG, loot more, go and kill ppl for fun and more loot.

I always try to kill any bandit on sight, just trying to do the right thing. Suggestion: When you kill a bandit the game add the same amount of humanity that when you kill someone.

Disable debug monitor, so you can see if you need water or food. Also, don't cheat.

Happened to me but with a pig, tracking him for 10 min, finally found him, proceed to kill for the bacon, it's gone.

Never found one of those, it's really rare stuff.

I have both, looking for a DMR or AS50.

The sad thing about this thread its that the mod was a great idea, but they forgot about fixing the bugs, now they are focused on standalone and have no time for fixing the mod as they said in the newest update. I may not have 1k posts but I loved this mod, and now Im not playing anymore, just waiting for the updates. But I guess they are not coming, so see you in standalone, they better do things right before someone else does like WarZ.

I think the game needs more penalties for KoS, its really a problem, when I played the game for the first time I always try to not kill players unless they attacked me, now I kill everyone I see because of fear of losing my gear, I have been betrayed a lot so its the only way you can survive, but if you think about it KoS is ruining the game, at least for me, I'm no saying bandits are bad people, its part of the game, but looking for low pop server so you can play without being shot by another player its not ok, even once I try to play at night so I can loot safely, and worry about the infected not other players.
