    Graphics Card

You could get away with an HD 5770 easily. That's what I'm using, running on mostly high with smooth FPS, game never gets choppy for me beyond the initial load and/or server lag. I'll tell you now though, my friend that lives with me is using a Pentium 4 with an AGP 4xxx series card, and 1 GB of RAM, and he can play on lowest settings(absolute lowest), though not smoothly(playable though). The suggestion that when you turn it up it takes more stress off the CPU I believe is clearly incorrect, and I have messed around with this on enough computers to know. It puts more stress on both, the higher you go, like any logical person would conclude.
  2. You mean something exactly like I posted earlier? http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=6749 I don't think it should be the zombie "virus" but rather a terrible sickness caused by rotten flesh in open wounds.

    Tent Maintenance to prevent de-spawning?

Hmm. I think the complete opposite, actually. I think that if you die, your tent should not only disappear sooner, but also able to be dismantled by other players(not sure if you're supposed to be able to do this anyway, never seen it done or did it myself). If you can just run back to your tent, where's the fear of death? Store up enough to re-equip, go to chern and shoot bullets into everything, die, go back to you tent. What's the point? Edit: In real life, you'd never go back to your tent again if you die. Because you're dead.

    A different kind of sickness

Well, one of the main reasons I thought something like this would be cool is, currently, everything that could possibly happen to you, you can fix by yourself without help from any other player. This would require you to either live with the constant nagging and slow drain of your life, eventually making survival many times more difficult than before, or find someone to help you. Lone wolf play is fine, and is how I usually play. But even a lone wolf should need help every now and then. That, and the fact the only time I've been killed by zombies was due to glitches, and I have more fear of glitches than the zombies themselves.
  5. I was thinking, if a zombie is attacking you with his putrid flesh flaps, and manages to make you bleed, perhaps there could be a very small chance that you catch a disease from that. Something that isn't immediately threatening, but would make life overall more difficult, and possibly lead to your death down the road. I mean, if you have an open wound and rub rotten meat into it, I'm sure you'd catch something eventually, or maybe it can be considered the same disease that made the zed in the first place. Was thinking maybe it could something nagging, maybe -10 blood per minute, 100 blood per 10 minutes, 600 blood per hour etc etc, maybe not those numbers but something like that. Nothing immediately threatening, but something that should be taken care of quickly. Make the cure incredibly difficult to find, and requires someone else to apply, similar to the blood bag. I think this would add a bit more fear of the zed, and would force you to find some help from another player if you are unlucky enough to contract this disease. Well, I guess it wouldn't force you, but it would get difficult quickly without, I think. Just a thought. A thought, that isn't typed out well, but a thought anyway.

Which T-Shirt design would you buy?

#2: DayZ logo. Keepin' it simple and clean.

Make sure the backpack you are trying to pickup is EMPTY. Only then you have TAKE BACKPACK option. Maybe that's the case. Hmm... I don't think so. After you drop the pack you can't even see it in the gear window. You no longer have the option to open pack or pick up the pack... You can see it on the ground but you no longer have any options. It acts as if there was no pack there in the first place. I haven't had trouble with packs previously. Can anyone else confirm there's an issue here  Yeah, same problem here, along with about 8-10 fps. Coped with the terrible FPS long enough to get into Chern, found an Alice laying around, tried everything under the sun to pick it up - no go. And, unfortunately, I can't just restart Arma to fix my FPS issues like others can. My game is staying at this low FPS no matter what, so I'm not going to be playing 'til that gets fixed, unless someone knows of another way to fix it.
