    On the Coast
  1. Yes, and to combat people deathmatching specifically on the coast, spread all of the spawns out throughout the entire map instead of centralizing it on the coast (make everyone start out in one of those brown civilian houses you can enter in anywhere on the map). It also gives players a starting chance at loot since they already have loot drop spots. Essentially just more wide-spread spawns. You don't even need to do all of the ones in the major areas because there's enough (at least more) civilian houses spawns on the map you could have compared to beach spawns on the map without putting them in one that is closer to an advantage than other house spawns. It makes it more wide spread, and the coast doesn't become a centralized hub of deathmatch anymore. Everyone's equally spread out. Not 20 words or less, but it gets a suggestion across without making a new thread.
  2. Updated the OP, hopefully this gets a bump as well.
  3. With the new temperature system, as mentioned before, broken off branches should be an item that spawns specifically in forests or near trees. Branches could help supplement the fire, but not as long as chopped wood can. It should be mentioned that the fire size and noise the fire makes should be reduced, as opposed to it being a blazing fireplace, as it currently is. Using branches in your fire should make the player's food cook time longer, as well as the temperature going up more slower than a fire with chopped wood would. Like how chopped wood takes up two inventory spaces, branches should take up only one. This doesn't completely fuck over players who can't find hatchets and need a fire to cook their meat or warm themselves, but still promotes a challenge. You (Rocket) also have mentioned the addition of hatchets. Hatchets should be able to cut wood out from trees (since I assume cutting them down entirely isn't possible), and supply the player with some chopped wood that would let the fire burn brighter, louder and longer. Chopped wood should also spawn anywhere next to chopped wood stacks that are currently in many locations around the map. On a side note, players should be able to heat canned foods over the fire for a small boost in blood restoration than normal. If it's raining, raincoats could be worn to greatly reduce your risk of catching an infection as you would without a raincoat. Raincoats should come in two colors, yellow or grey, that once placed in your inventory (the miscellaneous item slot at the bottom), you are given the right-click item option to put it on. Not to mention the player dilemmas this creates. I understand that some people would just server hop to avoid the rain, but this idea shouldn't be ruled out only because of these types of people. Antibiotic spawn rates should be risen. On a totally unrelated note, I'd also like to see a new food type, such as bagged foods, like small bags of chips, that can be found in urban areas and restore maybe 150 blood or so, as well as the addition of water bottles, empty and sealed. They could be reused, like canteens. You can pick up empty dirty water bottles that are laying around, but players who refill the dirty water bottles could be at risk of getting infected. Sealed water bottles pose no risk of infecting the player once they open them and drink them. Also, zombies should be attracted to the church bell when it rings whenever it does.
