    fixed. Turns out the patch I got off the BI website was a release candidate and not the most current patch. I just wasn't paying attention to the filename. Be absolutely sure the file is the current 1.60 and NOT 1.60RC.

    double check your 1.60 patch and make sure its not 1.60rc (release candidate). I think that is my problem. I'll know in a few minutes

    Same issue. Updated battleye manually but I still get the unkown game version error.
