  1. I like all these ideas, espeacially the wrecked aircraft carrier. What if the AC could be repaired to roam the coast? or make it into a makeshift city like in fallout. Rocket has said he wanted to create a system to where the players can build bunkers, bases and stuff like that. I would like to repair an aircraft carrier and be able to make it a small city. Repairing items could be like this: 10 Engines 50-100 Scrap metal depending on how damaged it is. 20 Wind shields 10 Main Rotor assembly for propellers. I am all for this type of thing. You have my beans.

    Agree i would like to use this myself. Its amazing, Hopefully rocket takes this into consideration for standalone.

    Thinking about it, the way of getting the stuff is a bad idea. I will revamp my idea.

    I realize there is a problem. A few problems.... How do you impliment these points? How would you obtain them? Could Players use this as currency? How Would players trade the points? Believe me the point system is a bit of a hassle but if you can find a way to do it. It could be a good investment.

    Well if you can earn the points by playing the game and performing certain actions it wouldn't be so bad losing items when you die, it would also put a lot of pressure on co-op play so you don't lose something you fought really hard to get. Lets say you buy a gillie suit. You paid 15000 for it and you know its hard to earn those points back. Would you shoot the next person you see that's wearing one? Or would you stop ask if he is willing to just walk by and not shoot so he doesn't lose his new gillie?

    Yes and if you die, you can keep your gear but have it changed to male/female depending on what you want to spawn with. Also the ability to hand out gear that provide abilities like this jacket will keep you warmer than this long sleeve shirt or these glasses will block more sun but not dim your view like these goggles. something like that. This also opens up a trading system for players like say you bought a certain helmet but you dont want that anymore, so you find someone with extra gear they dont need and you ask if they would like to trade with you. The amounts of gear trades with this could be endless. Like if i buy an item and put it on and i think it looks gaudy or gross and i dont like it anymore and i cant get a refund. Now i can go to an underground city some clan has built and find someone who trades gear for other stuff.

    CURRENCY IDEA!!

    You know, this bartering system could work depending on the needs of each player, as rocket has said in an interview he wants players to be the brains of the game. In the stand alone game we will have the ability to create underground bases/cities so i can see the power of one city in a server using a "currency" instead of just a "trade ya this for that" system. Maybe i will start an underground city with my clan and use beans for currency, or raw/cooked meat. Or bullets/magazines. There is no limitation to this. If we want to do it, then we can.

    DayZ Standalone Game Class Perks.

    I personally like this idea, of course some things could be OP for instance say a medic is shot by a sniper, he bandages himself, gives himself a blood transfusion. and runs further and repeat the same process. Now you have to deal with the invincible player or the "who will run out of stuff first" which im sure the medic will eventually die because a blood bag takes 1 slot where as a magazine of the dmr takes 10 i think. But as far as a class system goes, its a good idea, just needs some tweaks here and there. Al in All, im all for this.
