This is a useful thread for creating and using custom FACES but it doesn't have any information that I can find about creating custom SKINS. I can't find any info online for this but I know it can be done as I've seen custom skins in use. Does any who knows how to do this want to share some tips'n'tricks for how to do this?

I've met up with a couple survivors on Chernarus from here and it's been fun! So nice to play and not be sniped be a coward or killed by bandits or hackers when spawning. TS3: black monday Steam: lundinoir (black monday) Skype: lundi_noir

I've done well avoiding major cities most of the time. As for bandits it would be great to know who they are so we can put bounties on their heads for survivors to hunt them down!

I already do that. Everyone and everything starts to chase me! LOL

I've never seen an in game map. Are these loot that you have to find or something that is enabled/disabled server side?

Single Player would be a nice alternative to escape the hackers and the bandits. I've yet to come across any actual survivors to team up with so the game is pretty much single player already but not fun when you are killed by others over and over for no reason.

I'm lundi_noir on Skype but I don't use it much. I'm usually on Messenger and FB chat mostly. Going to make a coffee, catch up on Doctor Who then I'll jump into DayZ - if anyone is up for meeting in game let me know. :)

I'm another survivor (based in the UK) and looking for other to team up with. So far in the past couple of weeks since getting this game all I've come across are bandits and DayZ is quickly getting closer to being relegated to the dustbin if I can't find real gamers. I'm proud of my 2500 humanity and having 0 murders and I plan to keep it that way as I try to survive and help others where I can (if I can find any that will accept help rather than kill me on sight). I have a new MacBook Pro Retina Display running the latest build of Windows 8, Arma 2:CO and DayZ. Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead run great with high settings. The game is fluid and beautiful. However, DayZ is so choppy that it is unplayable, even with all the settings at their lowest values the game just doesn't work.
