I just restarted my server and got the timeout error. Did a second restart and gained connection.

I just gave my server 5 consecutive restarts and it successfully gained a hive connection each time. If the issue returns I'll post here.

At any rate, even after applying the changes I still get timeout errors, maybe not as frequent, but still enough to be very annoying.

Coincidence. I am still getting the timeout error quite frequently, I might have to shut down my server because of this. Edit: I take that back. It has improved some.

Confirmed. Vehicles are being "Ignored" after being destroyed. On my server, all helicopters are destroyed and haven't respawned in over a week.

Server Owners, If you run an official hive server, are you experiencing this problem? My server has had regular difficulty connecting to the hive after restarting. I restart my server (or it auto-restarts every 4 hours) and when someone connects after it comes back up, the hive fails to respond causing the server to sit indefinitely. I looked in arma2oaserver.rpt and I see it sitting at "HIVE: Starting". I also looked in HiveExt.log and saw that it said "HiveExt: [Error] Timeout". This happens far too often, especially when no admins are able to notice it (like when an auto-restart happens during the middle of the night). I ask that if any server owners have this problem to come forward, as this is currently the most frustrating issue for me in DayZ. Thanks

He didn't get kicked. I knew someone was scripting at the time and caught him in scripts.log.

Hello, I'm wondering if there's a way to log deaths on official hive DayZ servers of who kills who, if there are any systems I could install to my server, etc. If anyone has some info I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
