Okay, so I decided to use sixupdater, and I think I somehow bumbled my way through to getting the beta update to work. I can get into the beta only servers now, but I just want to make sure that that means I somehow did it right... I have the Steam version of the game, if that matters/helps at all.

Recommend Me! So, tl;dr version is, got hooked on Arma2/DayZ, can't function very well because my laptop only lets me do solo work at 18fps. Looking to build my own computer, need a parts list. So yeah, that in a nutshell. I have a monitor and a mouse (if that counts for anything) but I need a list of parts so I can make a computer that can run Arma2 on at least normal settings for around $500. I'm not looking to conquer the gaming world with my PC, I just want to be able to play at a normal fps, and not have my settings in the toilet. and before you all go insane over my price range, I've been told by several people/shops that build computers that you can do it for around that much. They just never got back to me about actual parts >_> PS If it helps at all, I'd also like to be able to play Arma3 since DayZ will most likely be ported on to it, and I know if it can handle Arma2, it'll be able to handle GW2. So, yeah. Go. And thanks for any positive feedback. *Minor update* I don't mind if you guys even just recommend me medium range parts and I'll do all the price searching, I honestly just don't even know where to start because of the sheer amount of cpus, video cards and so on.

So when you're looking at processors if it says bulldozer stay away from it haha. Lol, okay thanks. Hopefully I can find some good deals.
