It's not really complaining he was just stating the guy wanted to have some fun messing with an unarmed player for the LOL's I say thank you good sir for the story and I wish you all the best starting again and hopefully next time you will be the guy on the other end of the assualt rifle.

I would love if possible to expand the map to a larger size..but if their doing that I want server sizes jacked up to to 100+ players..The ratio at the moment of, as you guys said, POI to nothingness is fair high and I agree outside of the coast and the few major POI's already I might see another character pass off in the distant maybe once every 10 hours or so..so more players allowed on a server is a big thing for me.

Not to mention the addition of weapons and nerfing/fixing a few of them. By the by people learn the game I used to play and get maybe an hour or 2 max before dying but now im on my first character to be alive for over 2 days and it gets better once you get over the learning curve.

Ive seen a few vehicles here and their but they are quite rare and you're more likely to find them parked in bushes or hidden rather than in a town somewhere because usually groups swoop in and hide them before others can get to them. Its gotten better but since they cracked down on people saving vehicles off map but yeah. As for the crash..the survivor probably jumped in and plowed straight into a tree and exploded

Sounds like it was a blast to see so many people fight over one bus, congrats to the person/group who got it up and out of there and hopefully they didnt crash it 20 minutes later

And thats why you didn't fly a heli today. The server isnt outdated it's upto date with all the patches and what not that the DayZ staff release, they just havent had their helicopters disabled because they didn't have to and also it gave those,who if willing, that wanted to fly a heli could do so..at their risk of knowing the thing is buggier than a ants nest.

Some older servers, like the ones released around the beginning, didnt get their choppers diasabled, only the newer servers have them disabled until they fix a few bugs with them and remove radar

Way I see it, you just said they should send a ticket to get your friends banned from a server.. And from what datguy said, while you wont get an issue for having a weapon that is so widely discussed at the moment as to wether its allowed or not and while it says its allowed, its also bugged to the shit and can land anyone really using one in hot water but thats beside the point. The admins gonna check the logs and your "threat" of the admin landing in hot water would only further the reason to check the logs and send it to dayz support with the logs and timestamp of the battlelog..so i like to think of it more as 1 3/4 out of 3

Im interested in hooking up with you guys, got abit of sniper experience under my belt aswell as jsut basic attack and move tactics but always room to learn new things. Have played on and off for the past month or so and gear is normally medium to high depending on life At the moment running with basic survival gear, AKS-74 Kobra, few canteens and food cans. Not a fan of the natural disasters idea except maybe earth tremors or something, just to make you worry about more and make you freak out a little. On the other hand im in full support of the idea of having a whiteout, mist, morning fog (night time fog would be abit weird seeing as how hard it is to see at night anyway) but natural things like that would make it more interesting and realistic..hell even steam after a rain storm or something would be nice

Better than my first time, my first time resulted in being stuck on the top of a crane somewhere talking to another player on the other crane opposite me throwing flares around each other to make sure the other is alive..then finding out a bandit was behind me but he fell off and died..followed by me falling off and dying because of the old pistol in hand ladder climb results in death

I agree that admins should have the power, if there is a cheater/hacker who gets onto the server and the admin knows their cheating and can prove it to be able to at the very least kick the guys from the server and or ban them while putting a note about it in the cheater section of the forums. That being said you cant have one without the other..if they put in some form of alt+F4 delayer or blocker or something you're gonna have the forums filled with people coming out the woodwork complaining about how they got cheated and died while trying to log out or their game crashed and died because their character remained in the game..which then leads to complaints and rage about how the "games broken" and "dayZ ruined" and "no one should play because its unfair" Its a double edged sword and it will probably be awhile before anything about the alt+F4'ers is actually done which is a painful truth we just have to deal with, until then your choices simply come down to try your hardest to avoid PvP or if you know you cant, then make sure your shots are straight and true and if they alt+f4 hopefully you blew their leg out and left them bleeding.

Agree on all of the above and while it is a punch in the face for anyone who has a base set up on that server or vehicles on it, its already a punch in the face to them if the claims are true about resetting the server multiple times in such short span as well as handing out gear and duping the system.

Well if they do exist then well played to you good sir, go find a camp or just set one in a high loot area (NWAF, SSMC, balota airbase etc.)

Its all about the lookout/overwatch..you just dont have the same feeling of protection if the guy on lookout only has a pair of binocs and a rifle. Other than that I cant see a point of going through town carrying a small tree on your back for all to see, unless you have some mean as sidearm like a PDW or a revolver or something.

Passing out would be a good idea for thirst, even having that weakened state when you've lost alot of blood or are in shock, not the whole grey screen cant see anything, but the shakiness and the blurred vision from pain from dehydration and hunger.

They don't have to but I wouldnt expect them to write joke in front of what their about to say otherwise you already know its a joke and just won't be as funny. But I agree a large percentage of suggestions are a joke, mainly due to people either A. not searching before putting up the idea 50 other people thought of aswell or B. putting up an idea that just doesn't/wouldn't work well with the game. The main goal is not to care what people suggest, it's their ideas and yeah, ok, majority of their ideas could be bad, but the chance of those bad ideas actually getting INTO the game, well lets say simply theirs a higher chance that Dean himself would walk up to your house, knock on your door, and then live on your couch for the rest of your dayz life then those bad ideas getting in. If it doesn't affect you directly, then I say let them post, highest possibility is they realise they had a bad idea or complained about something already done before and move on..other chance is they get so angry at people flaming them they either leave the game or troll the forums and get abusive because "everyone else was abusive to me so whats the point"

How many jokes have you actually read on this forum? trust me thats some stand up on stage at an open mic night in a little bit better than filthy coffee shop or the equivalent starbucks and start saying things we see straight off the bat humor. Fact is aslong as we keep talking like this going back and forth on whether I have any intellect in you're mind and whether my choice words of trying to lighten a situation that everyone has seen and heard before, in a thread that has been seen and done before..in my mind we just showed people what not to do when posting a suggestion page in a nice way without any swearing or telling people to go cry or complain, so I see that as a job well done.

If your full bore sprinting It took me about 50 minutes to get to red flashing thirst, but only had mild hunger pains so it comes and goes really, even then with the dehydration and all that, death is still slow because it goes through the process of losing blood so if you have full health mine was dropping by about 50 every 10 seconds so you have awhile still after that hits to still survive

It was a joke, you know, ha ha..of course its not a good idea, but im not against the idea of adding more close combat weapons, I dont exactly agree with the being able to punch out a zombie but 2x4 or pipes or anything like that are all feasable ideas...I just thought in my comment I would try and make it a more lighter subject then people cracking it saying "ALREADY BEEN DONE! Cant say I've ever heard of any pipe bombs or c4 in DayZ so best to eyre on the safe side and throw them away or just drop them in the middle of nowhere and dont look back. Just make sure if you do happen to throw them away, make sure not to kill anyone or destroy anything otherwise you could be looking at some trouble for, quote "using a hacked weapon which is unfair and against the rules, this guy should be banned for life" from alot of people

Top of the stairs at balota airfield, so many people just sprint in not really looking just eyeing for gear or being chased by zeds that they run right over it

Doesn't sound like a bad thing, maybe we can sell tickets, TAKING ALL BETS whos gonna win, on the left in the black we have random suuurvivor A and on the right side in the blue we have the reigning champion with 1 murder..suuurvivor B...people shall gather on the hills to watch with binocs as bandits take pot shots to make it more interesting
