Hi everyone, this post is about a new server that is now up. As the name says, we are a chernarus server, and, we have bases set up all over the map, in these bases there are tents filled with loot, vehicles, buildings, etc. If you happen to come across one of these bases then feel free to claim it as your own! Now, for the part about clans, any group that wants to join our server can do normally, and play dayz as they normally would, with a few extra things which ill discuss after this. However, on the loading screen is a website where groups / clans can register and they are then given a few extras to help them out, first of all, by registering on the site, they can choose their own loadout for EVERY TIME they spawn! So, if you get killed by another group, you wont spawn with nothing as normal, but instead you will spawn with the loadout that you requested! Also, groups are given bases and their own private helicopter spawns within those bases! So, if your heli gets shot down in a fire fight, on the next restart it will respawn back in your base! Now for the new things that have been introduced to the map, first of all, we have built another airfield, its called the SW airfield and has some treats for those who go to it! At the NW airfield, there is a fun zone, with ramps and vehicles to do jumps over planes! Also, Skalisty Island has now been turned into a helicopter airbase! If you are a solo survivor, then you can still get access to all the same extras as groups, just register through the site and when you spawn, you will have the gear you chose! We are active admins, who are on the server daily, any problems which arise are dealt with quickly to ensure that everyone in our community gets to play problem free. We also hold tournaments for those online willing to participate, these can range from assaults on bases and cities, to races around the map, with whoever / whichever group winning earning themselves / their group valuable prizes! So come on over if you want this experience! Hi everyone, this post is about a new private hive server with prebuilt custom bases, they are hidden across the map and if you find one, then feel free to claim it as your own! Also, hidden all over Chernarus are camping tents, filled with loot! Its a great community of players, every now and again we hold community events, for everyone online to participate in and earn themselves weapons, vehicles, ammo, etc. Yesterday we raced from Elektro to the NW airfield, with the admins flying above us giving a commentary, and the winner got to win any load out they wanted! Soon we are going to have assaults, ie. a group of players in a base, and everyone tries to assault and take the vehicle inside the base! The winner earning themselves prizes again! So come on over! I know never to get attached to a weapon or a character nothing last's long in dayZ, i've had many characters die, and im used to it! this guy has been alive now for 41 days though! not my longest lived character but still going well! hope you like the pic though!

I was just wondering if anyone else is having problems downloading the new update (1.2) for DayZ Origins? Everytime i try to download it, I keep getting an error message plus the download is really slow, i have tried a manual install but still downloading it manually ends up in a corrupted file, can anyone help me out with this? Hello everyone, i am part of a group called The Order, and we are currently looking to expand our member count to introduce fireteams based on location / timezone, ie. european players together, american / canadian players together. We are looking for experienced players that understand the fundamentals of DayZ, players that can, if needed, be sent on missions on their own and come back alive with the mission complete, which could be anything from a loot run, to more dangerous missions like scouting out hostile areas, or backing up team mates on the ground in a firefight. We will not be training up new players, and, as i said earlier, experienced players only, this group is for seasoned players. We will be operating in tandem with the other branch of the group, on the same servers, so we will have a combined force and base established, with weapons, medical supplies, etc. We are not bandits, nor are we heroes. We just survive. If someone is stopping us from completing a mission, then they are considered hostile and need to be removed. If we need medical supplies, then a team is sent, if we need ammo, a team is sent, you get the idea. However, if a team comes under fire and needs backup, then hardened players are sent, or else we bring in air support, no players in our group are left behind, nor are they alone. We protect each other, and expect the same from each and every member. As the topic title says, i'm looking to form a group of dedicated players, im looking for around 3 - 5 players to start this group and to survive Chernarus with. Anyway, i've been playing for about 4 months, i've played solo and with other players, so now i am looking for experienced players that play tactically and co-operate well together. If you are interested then leave a post on here, ill be checking this forum post often so it will be a quick reply to you when and if you do post. I'll need to know a few things about you if you do intend on playing, and i'll leave the details at the end of this post. About the group im intending on forming, as i said earlier im looking for experienced, mature players that can play tactically, know the mechanics and gameplay of DayZ to survive, and are friendly to play and talk with. I'd like to be able to log in and log out with the players so someone always has our back, but this won't be decisive on the group, just be nice haha. (something) he killed me in elektro and i spent the next two and a half hours getting a rifle and hunting him down, i managed to sneak up and i was right behind him (within 50m) when the server crashed (i think? whatever it was i couldnt get back on or find it), he knows me in-game as Connor, we were playing on the uk 410 server and were having an amazing hunting game, if anyone can help me find him for a rematch it would be much appreciated! i had just spawned on the beach near kamenka, and had nothing of use, so i decided to head north into the woods before heading east to cherno, as i was moving i saw something running past the edge of the woods i was in and when i looked closer, it was a bandit, when i got a proper look it turned out to be 3 bandits, as i had no weapons i couldn't shoot them, so i had to be stealthy, for the next 40 odd minutes i was following them, sticking to the woods as much as i could until eventually they stopped at their camp, and then they logged out. i ran down to their tents and stole what i needed, which included an m4 cco sd, an m9 sd, ghillie suit, map, gps, lots of cooked meat, an alice pack, beans and coke, morphine, and a lot of ammo, 6 mags for the m4 and 5 mags for the m9. So stalking bandits paid off! anyone else got any stories about bandits?
