It's hard to feel sympathetic regarding the first point. _every_single_player has to learn how to play the game. I did. Many others reading this did. You die, you learn not to make the same mistakes again. I don't like death match either so I keep away from trouble, try doing the same. Apart from the mean spirited bugs that happen (it's an alpha!) most of my deaths we due to bad decisions or bad luck. It's a survival game, being killed by a choice I made not some arbitrary game rule rocks. First time run through without a starting gun - fun fun. Had to crawl with two zombies very close to get the hatchet in the building nearby, but they werent facing me and didnt trigger unfairly - Great. Cans, light sources as triggers work well. Seem to be getting a lot of triggering from z's seeing when crouched, not unfair, and am able to come up with a plan to evade pursuers. Picked up a dbl barrel shotgun which disappeared with an error that I didnt have the asset. To get a starting kit is taking a lot longer, not a bad thing.

If you choose to shoot on sight that's a decision for you or your opponent to make, not for the game to enforce. Become scared of people for a while, change your tactics to minimise conflict. Seriously, I've played the game for a week or more without encountering another player in that time. This is on full servers

Its been tried? Great hopefully they iron the bugs out. Being unable to abort a bad decision or an unwanted situation will make things more tense. I've done it in the past its a cheaters way out.

Additional enemy types would be good, to require scoping an area, develop tactics per town assault. Depends on where the creators are going and the arma engine capabilities.

Could do with some tweaking I guess. I only have cans for backup an as I'm in the wilderness use canteens. Perhaps if they didn't restore all your hydration? If 171 increases the zombie difficulty then perhaps they will be harder to reach

I was interested in custom clan skins until you wanted to stop me from having the ability to kill a clan member and infiltrate the group. Sounds like making special rules so you can have the game the way you want it. If there is no level of trust you should trust no one. If you want trust you should find a way to make it happen. E.g. play with people you know, set up some kind of forum or website that establishes a players trust. All this can be managed offline from the game prior to jumping on a server. It doesn't need the game to enforce it.
