When I said I listen to Baker in Musty TS...I meant mostly whining and confusion. But I tried to spice it up a bit. :P

I have listened to Baker in Musty TS go on and on and sweat his mind out building and learning to better the player's experience in DayZ mod. If you are looking for a good server/community this is a great place to go. His simple ideas for improvement are refreshing and pretty damn cool to see in game. Come in & have a great time. But watch out or you might get boodled and end up re-spawning. :rolleyes: :beans: :beans: :beans: :beans: :beans: :beans: :beans:

I've been out of the loop for playing DayZ the last week or 2 due to work. Have to go back here tonight...it's a moral imperative.

The ping should be set to allow up to 300 I believe. We've had some people from Euro playing and they haven't had any real issues. Try it out and see. Maybe you will be okay! :)

Went on a serious run for 2 nights. Spawn in with flares and some bandage...we were on foot for a good portion of it the 1st night. Looking for vehicles spawns and trying to...get this, SURVIVE. Bandits by nature and we had to do it the hard way. Creep around cause it's dark, zombies more ferocious (You will think twice before shooting in a town for real lol). Food,drink, and meds became important like a mofo. When's the last time you heard Banditos yelling OMG A BOAR. WE NEED THAT!!!!!! Weapons are not scarce, but they are not not plentiful either. Check out some more shots of the scenery (sorry no super fog shots, I was too mesmerized and trying to watch out for those Zeds!) BUT DAT FOG. When it kicks in for 10-20 minutes and you can see maybe 5-10 feet in front of you it redefines the game. Not so much where it's unbearable, but out of nowhere it picks up and then you're like WTF MAN! But enough of that, back to the beauty...

So this was someone's testimonial of their inability to play right?

Time: 2:15(ish) EST So we were looking for a nice high pop server to flex our guns and have some fun. It was pretty nice, quick load, Overwatch, who could ask for more? I myself prefer a nice hardcore setting but apparently all vehicles reset to full health and fuel on this server and they had map markers enabled. Okay I can still live with that (great load time, frame rates, etc). Then we see some guys in Berenzino at the end of the main road (near the shoreline war houses). Someone ran up to it after driving and it attempted to cut the engine on and lift off. Apparently the pilot died and it went down and exploded (along with the SUV moments after that. I'm guessing it was the proximity to heli?). Didn't see anyone else and there were no shots. One guy was checking the body and suddenly his leg broke and died. Then another player went up to him to grab his gear and/or heal him and then his leg broke and he died within 5 seconds. Okay, maybe someone was REALLLY far off and took a few nice shots at us. Then some chat started working its way in and suddenly I'm in my car approximately 30-40 meters away from everything and I pop out of the car with a unconscious quick meter and die before it ends. I PRESENT TO YOU A SCREENSHOT MY BEAUTIFUL DAYZ PPL: Ppl abused in game and questioning chat: Carlos_Danger, Bakerchuckskiwish Possibly admin in question: Mr. McGhilicuddy Now I for one and all for a good fight or anything else along those lines. It's overwatch man. Massive guns are there for a reason. But what the hell? I checked [D50]'s website and Mr. McGhilicuddy is indeed a member, but there wasn't much answers to our questions other than the above related chat. I just wanted to know if this is how [D50] endorses playing, is this a legit admin... My final thoughts on my experience here...avoid this server if you enjoy fair play of any sort whether survivor or bandit. ***I will remove this thread or have it removed if I'm wrong. Who wants faulty advertising when their commander tag says "ALL WELCOME?" Certainly not me.

That doesn't deny it's relevancy. Certain knowledge has no age young padawan.

My thoughts exactly Diddums. I'm going to start streaming in the evenings (I work) and want to also stream for the Extra-life charity event (check it out if you don't know...25 HOUR GAMING FOR SICK KIDS CHARITY). This is something that I just googled after remembering people getting ghosted in game from their streams. Excellent. Now I just have to google some other cool shit like inserting your webcam and/or chat box onto the screen. :D Props galore as this was one of the first few threads I found when googling. Welcome to the DayZ! Send me a message if you want to run around a bit. I'm part of a community, but also have a private TS. I remember first playing this and you really will die a lot getting used to it. Best advice, do not get attached to gear lol. Hope you enjoy whether I hear from you or not.

That should have been something you used as an original response. ONE RESPONSE and this would have been gone. But instead you chose some other crazy route. Thread will be removed later this evening.

Possibly because your approach for this landing was a crash and burn? If you came at me like a big boy and not insulting us and talked to me about what happened...then maybe this would not be here anymore. I can easily get a mod to remove it. But I'm savoring this a little now. Because you put your foot in your mouth a few times. Don't try to act hardcore and insult me and then say "why am I still reading this?" Because there is a person in your server who claimed to be staff. He said he killed us and this was seconds after he was shot in a chopper about to lift off. You did not address this at all. Instead resorted to insulting us and offering no explanation to who is Mr. McGhilicuddy or some sort of "We checked the logs and there was someone 700 feet away that killed you guys. If you want to talk about it you can message me." That's what admins are for no? I mean, we started off enjoying the server. But then some really shiesty things happened. Aren't you concerned about something like that happening? Are all really welcome? Because if so we wouldn't have been supposedly banned from the server after we died. Because I know baker and I sure as hell didn't come again if we thought there were some sort of hacking or abuse. What would be the point of that?

Apparently they got hurt in the butt Baker. And yes, perhaps I posted it with the wrong title? Perhaps Player/Hacker? But this: clearly shows that this is a server for 12 year olds. Any admin that isn't biased would have said they will investigate it. Or replied back with a log check or something of that nature. But this guy Cool Hand, his reply certainly speaks volumes about his character and cowardice. Did I complain about being shot all over the place? NAH, because that never happened and probably won't on your training server. Maybe he missed the line about taking out a chopper? I know they definitely missed us running up the southern road mopping players clean. Maybe he missed the line about me saying everyone that was involved with the incident suddenly had their legs broken and died all within the same 5 seconds and asking if there was something fishy going on? Maybe he missed me asking to check on this guy Mr. McGhilicuddy, or maybe not...maybe there IS something weird going on and I pulled that card and you can't handle it. Because that response was weaker than my 88 year old grandmother. You know what this sounds like Cool Hand? It sounds like you and your D50's can't play for shit so you needed your own lame ass server to try to boss in. AM I RIGHT? I mean come on? How can you say you guys we cannot stomach the violence when you have the server dumbed down with auto healing all vehicles after restarts, map markers enabled, and strange deaths immediately after we mop the floor with one of your supposed "Bandit players?" I think he was just basically asking if you can setup a safe there. Which it is very possible as mentioned above!

It was the first vehicle I saw and the 1st I fell in love with on that server (then it was the pink Hello Kitty smart car). I felt the need for a pimp skin to be found in game after that. lol

Oh, I just didn't want to single Steak out so I "magically" decided to add you into the mix. :D :P ;) :)

I've been playing on the US server since its testing. From the start, besides for being left behind by Steak and Amber in bizarre locations that you should never leave a bambino, I really like this server. Adding some mods like the gold mine and bandit island (and more) make for something different and has people going crazy to figure out AI safe combos. Random small missions, the ability to build bases, and crafting items/currency exchange gives you that more than little extra "what can I do now" that starts to appear for a lot of frequent DayZ players. You can lock cars and safes when purchased...I can go on and on. But hey, just cause I'm a Musty Gamer don't take my "biased" word for it. Check it out...have some fun. The AI is great...they stole a chonook (you little $*^%$) we found the first night playing. If you're getting a little tired of plain DayZ with just some now standard add-ons (like self blood bagging, etc).
