usually when the server goes down when ur in a vehicle it will appear to have dissapered. this has happend to me and my friends on a private server with a bus. we continued our day z playing and during that time we have restarted the server quite a few times. we found a car then started driving on the road where we lost the bus and it was were it dissapered. so just wait a while or try getting pretty far away from where u lost the heli and restart the server and it could be there.

my friend wanted me to travel way up north on the 1 road behind the nw airfield. he made us go all the way till we hit debug land and he just decided to quit. so im up there stuck with no food or water and my as50 with every tool and nvgs. so my thirst starts to blink and i just disconnect cause i wanted to die another day. well when i logged on the next day i found my self spawned on the cost. and i knew it was a glitch cause that only happens when theres an update which there wasnt. But now the glitches are starting to piss me off because now every once in a while i randomly spawn at the coast. i lost a svd camo and my motorcycle due to these random coast spawning. -
