    you guys are nubs... placed about 10 tents since the new patch which lets them be put anywhere all of those times have been under trees/bushes...

    This! We need more options for ammo from downed heli's. Plus the DMR and FAL both shoot .308 so why not.

    FN FAL NV

    Please enable the optics switching on the Scope on the FN FAL. its nto working atm. it worked a couple times back and forth then it bugged on perma NV.

My idea was that if you stayed in a spot long enough (like when you are out hunting) the animals and birds would start coming back to wear you are located and talking, chirping etc. When you moved or when someone started walking up they would stop chirping or "fly away". This would be like a subtle early warning system if someone is moving towards you. This would also create more of a natural enviroment and immersive effect.

  11. Would it be possible to implement a system to keep people from server hopping in same area? Here's my idea... lets say a person logs out in the barracks. If that person logs on another server and loots the barracks then logs out. they log in another server and havent moved at least 50 meters from thier original location they get a timer when they login. You could say make it 4x or 5x times until they get the timer without moving from the same location. The 4x to 5x times is incase people are trying to find a good server and not just server hopping for loot.

Where you were: airfield - undisclosed location What you were doing: looting airfield and running far away for an hour *Current installed version: beta version arma2 and 1.7.0 Dayz *Server(s) you were on:TX7 *Your system specs:i7, windows 7, geforce graphics *Timeline of events before/after error: raided airfield about 4 am CST eventually logged off about 5:20 am CST, when i logged on this morning at 11 am CST my items had reverted to 4 am? server didnt save?

    guy named {SOC}BlueDevil just came in server and started hacking and killing everyone. raised zombie level and when we disconnected our progress from 2 hours reverted. sorry can a mod pls move this to hacker report section oops:P

    well there is already a post on the hacker section. His name was SOH CoolDevil on NL3 he started killing everyone in the game... i myself didnt die as when i saw 15 people die in a row withing 1 min i knew something fishy was up...So maybe he wasnt hacking or maybe he was server isnt up anymore.
  18. Yes he killed everyone and all my gameplay from 2 hours reverted after i disconnected...

Just make a timer before you can spawn in... either 1) the more times you die the longer the wait before you can log in 2) the lower the humanity the longer you have to wait before you spawn in. The main problem that this addresses is bandits just spawning with makarovs running in wild killing sprees griefing players and getting better equipment. I know you are trying to make the game realistic but with the ability to respawn it makes it too easy to be a bandit. Skin needs to be removed but there needs to be measures to keep people from just running in popping the first person they see and saving hours worth of work gathering shit.
  20. I like this idea but with humanity. It makes it harder to be a troll. and gives you time to urinate on the bandits if urination is implemented also.
  21. Seems like its impossible to stay alive being in town where all the goodies are. its almost like you have to grab some gear and head for the forest lol.
  22. This game is getting incredibly popular which causes many problems. I would just like to say ...Dont listen to the player base...too many carebears are trying it out and leaving feedback when they havent even tried the game really. They will complain about everything and turn the mod into every other game/mod out there. Sandboxes should be tough and real gamers will like the game for being tough. If its not tough people will lose interest. Basically im just saying people dont know what they like or just like whining in general so just follow your artistic instinct and this game will keep getting more awesome. thanks

    Rocket the game is too awesome...

    Just saying don't let the whining carebears who play 1 hour and whine about stuff they cant do and ruin the survival atmosphere of the game. I was just reading the old posts about people whining about the number of zombies but i see now they are going to change them back to less zombies. Just saying dont listen to the whiners. If they cant survive then they are zombies in real life and in the game. They have to learn to adapt.
