Lol, I honestly have no problem with it personally. You took a suggestion I made, and in your own minds turned it into a complaint and qq. Congrats on failing in basic reading comprehension. I don't disagree with rocket, I love the fact that people have the option to be friendly or kill others. But Realistic or not, IMO, the game played better when the skins depicted playstyle. Now it's more of a deathmatch, than before. It seems so to me at least. I'm still playing and loving it, and not crying in anyway, it was just my opinion and suggestion. Take it with a grain of salt. -

In response to something Rocket said in another thread.... I think the humanity rating and the bandit skins worked pretty well to discourage PKing, honestly. At least much better than how it works now since the last patch, there is no "punishment", or for a better word, consequence. I think ppl who kill everyone on sight, SHOULD be "blackballed" by being a bandit. The way it was before encouraged the ones who DID want to team up, to stay survivors and dread having the "shot on sight" bandit skin. The thing I would change about the old system with humanity is I would tweak it so that it takes more than one murder to turn into a bandit, this way those who "defended themselves" wouldn't be bandit unless they killed 3 or so ppl, and if they did that all in self defense, then looks like it just isn't their lucky day. Also I think the rate at which you loose bandit status should be lengthened, a way to discourage ppl from becoming one. This combined with most survivors shooting all bandits on sight would be deterrent enough to not murder and become one(a bandit) if they really give a shit about being shot at, like so many bandits I see in game chat who cry about being one, and getting shot at on sight. Do shady shit? Well that's cool and you're free to do so in this open world sandbox game(and I wouldn't have it any other way), but there should be a consequence for actions, good and bad. IMO. I have noting against ppl who prefer to play the bandit lifestyle. But however I don't think they should get to look like survivors. The cool thing about this game is there WAS two fractions, and they were player driven. You aren't forced to be one or the other, But your playstyle and actions depicted your chosen "side". That was refreshing and ingenious to be honest. The humanity system/ different skins, wasn't perfect BUT, it was much better than what is currently implemented. Like people said, there is no reason to really not kill everyone thanks to humanity not being visible. I read the forums everyday, and seen you mention rocket that you did have future plans for humanity, and how it's implemented, I for one, can't wait to see what you have planned. This is your baby, and so far, for the most part you have created something magical, oozing with uber amounts of potential. Let's just try to keep it the anit-game, above all else, and not cave in to carebears, and casuals who need instant in game gratification as soon as they spawn in. Thanks that's all I have to say on the matter, would love to hear your guy's/gal's responses and how you all feel about the situation, and current state of the game along the lines of the humanity/bandit skin system. -

First off, AWESOME MOD, love this game, in an era of theme parks, and casual carebears, it's good to see a nice hardcore sandbox rpg/fps shooter/sim of the the zombie genre where the stakes were never higher. Thanks to perma-death. But the tent pitching is too picky about where I can put this damn thing. I've been spending hours, and it keeps saying it's not level enough or free of objects. I'm in open fields, with no grass, I have tried all over. Tents shouldn't be so hard to set. They should just snap to/and match the degree of the terrain IMO. Would it be that hard to code? Just a suggestion. Any tips for pitching tents would be appreciated as well. -
Yea same.
