We have talked some about this and many think it would be a great idea. I know this can be done within the db but a adjustment from the developers would be even greater so all servers can benefit from it, if they think it's a good idea.

Hey Drekkz, since DayZ Commander haven't been updated in a very long time it still suggests a old version of DayZ (1.8.3). Today the mod is on version 1.8.4.1 Anyways, get the mod from Steam. Go to Steam Store and download Arma2:DayZ mod there. That will give you the latest version and it will be easy to keep it updated that way. A new launcher is out and it is called DayZ Launcher, there is also one called Survival Launcher but the first one seems to be the most popular, but I would use them only for finding servers and downloading deriative mods. Always get the mod from Steam and make sure it works there first by joining some vanilla servers via the Arma Multiplayer menu. Welcome back to vanilla and let me know how it goes!

Hello Kira. We run the server we would like to play on ourselves and we really believe in DayZ Mod. We figured that the best way to get a busy server going and support DayZ Mod was to start the server fully vanilla, build a nice little community around it and play on it ourselves. And here we are with around 40 players playing on DayZ Europa every night. Population will come and go and we are on a rise again, I see it and I can feel it. I am really glad you love it! This is just sad and very ignorant and I would expect alot more from the DE 1000 crew. The admin you were talking to should've acted on this and done what's right, even though it might include bashing someones friend. As a server owner and admin myself, I kick/ban players everyday with offensive/racist/homophobic/sexistic nicks. Our servers have to be a place for everyone, not only for donating players or friends of admins. Also, racism isn't accepted in our society so I don't see why someone would get away with it on DE 1000.

Please don't give players a Makarov and 2 mags upon start. It just feels wrong as so many lol servers do the same. This game should be about scavenging and surviving. I might be wrong here but I just don't see the point. What will the recipe create? Cheers.

Finally started to get used to it but a friend of mine said it pretty well: "it feels a bit unbalanced from a survival perspective. It would be more realistic if you could find a warm sweater" How would you like it to work? Just one blood type for all and keep the self blood bag system with empty blood bag and 2x transfusion kit? I think the blood bag system seems pretty well thought through with testing kit and such.

Is it only me that misses the loot we used to be able to find in Deer stands? Getting a Kamenka spawn was actually a good thing looting all the Deer stands going north towards Zelenogorsk. Nowadays I don't even bother checking them as all I find is...nothing. We should be able to find hunting knifes, binoculars, matches, water bottles, compasses, maps, food, hunting rifles and ammo and perhaps camo clothing. What do you think?

Hello, as many of you probably know there is a vulnerability in ArmA2 making servers easy targets for hackers/cheaters. Please up-vote this issue here: https://dev.withsix.com/issues/75896 so we might get an end to the create unit exploit. Thanks!

Talk to the server admin. The server is most likely running Infistar as it gives a white screen when you are being disconnected. There is no one on these forums that can help you, you need to talk to the server admin. Good Luck.

Hey all! Traffic has been great for us these last couple of days and DayZ Europa is closing in on the top 50 of the most populated DayZ Mod servers in the world. This means we attract more players than most Overpoch, Overwatch and Epoch servers, pretty amazing considering we are a 100% vanilla DayZ Mod server. It seems many players are finding their way back to the Mod and the challenges it offers. Be sure to check us out if you haven't already. See you in-game!

Hey, this is due to a bug with battleye when you join the server too fast after a restart. Go in to bans.txt and remove your GUID then reload bans or restart the server. It should even say (No Reason) as the reason for the ban.

This just makes me frustrated. Private servers and hackers? What vanilla server are you playing on and supporting if I may ask? There are SEVERAL very good vanilla DayZ Mod servers out there. The hive won't be coming back, writing posts about it here is kind of useless. Playing on and supporting a vanilla server however will make a difference. Edit: check this out.
