Enough of the bullshit please. This is what vanilla is all about and has always been.You are not exactly bringing anything new to the table. Also, you forgot to mention that you (SHU) have been banned on all vanilla DayZ Mod servers multiple times for scripting.

This is a guide on how to properly join vanilla DayZ Mod servers. Some players report running Steam as an Admin solves a lot of issues. 1. Download Arma 2 from Steam. 2. Start Arma 2. 3. Download Arma 2 OA from Steam. 4. Start Arma 2 OA. 5. Download Arma 2: DayZ Mod from Steam. 6. Start Arma 2: DayZ Mod. 7. Press Multiplayer and make sure it says "Internet" in the lower left corner. 8. Double click on the server you wish to join. If you get kicked off the game when joining a server: Delete any copied in Addons folders in your Arma 2 OA folder: (There is suppose to be an Addons folder in the Expansion folder, don't delete that.) If you get "Session Lost": Make sure you are launching DayZ Mod from Steam, not Arma 2 OA.

Hello all. It's been a while. Some news regarding DayZ Europa: We have moved so to join the server you need to download and launch Arma 2: DayZ Mod from Steam. If you prefer using DayZ Launcher you still need to download DayZ Mod from Steam as described above and then tick "Launch DayZ Mod as Steam App" in DayZ Launcher settings. Hello all. To join vanilla DayZ Mod servers you need to download and launch Arma 2: DayZ Mod from Steam. Once Arma has started, press Multiplayer to see all available servers. Most vanilla DayZ Mod server admins decided to start using the app ID of Arma 2: DayZ Mod instead of Arma 2 OA on their servers. The reason for this is to make joining a vanilla DayZ Mod server easy, without the need of third-party launchers. Cheers

Most vanilla DayZ Mod servers decided to switch app id to Arma 2: DayZ Mod instead of Arma 2 OA since this is our own dedicated launcher on Steam. Doing so solves a lot of issues with joining our servers. Also there won't be a real need for external launchers to play vanilla DayZ Mod. And when the mod gets updated ppl can play the very same day as the app will auto-update. We are talking to the devs of DayZ Launcher to fix the session lost error. Just like we did, he probably needs to switch app id's.

Hello, you should not copy anything from Arma 2 to Arma 2 OA. To join vanilla DayZ Mod servers just start Arma 2: DayZ Mod in Steam. For now DayZ Launcher doesn't support vanilla DayZ Mod servers and this will likely be fixed soon. If you have problems with your add-ons I would verify the game files in Steam of both Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA and them start them both separately. To join other servers use DayZ Launcher.

Hey man, try to start Arma 2 OA and enable DayZ Mod in the Arma 2 OA Expansions menu. Restart and you will see all servers. Also make sure it says "Internet" and not "LAN" in the lower left corner when in the Multiplayer view. Please don't call it vanilla if you add your own stuff. It's very confusing and can also be misleading for players.

Yes, you are not uploading enough data to the server. This usually happens if you have a lot of packet loss (restart router and update firmware might help) or a very slow computer. Either that or you are speed hacking, that's why we ban for it. If you want to play you need to fix it.
