Red smoke has been appearing by stashes, medboxes and heli crashes as soon as a player has been near by. It seems it was the Anti Hack that caused it and has now been fixed! Cheers!

Vilayer is working on resolving the issue now. Its up and running but we cant seem to join it. I'll post here when its working again.

The server is down due to a Steam Beta patch update that went wrong. I am trying to reach vilayer at the moment and hoping this will be resolved shortly. Very bad timing, i know. I'll keep you posted! Thanks

I am updating to the latest arma beta patch (125548) as soon as vilayer lets me. The button is there (in the control panel for the server) but it gives me an error at the moment. Should be running it in a couple of days. Cheers.

Get this instead: http://dayzlauncher.com/ For all the Arma/DayZ servers that has moved on to the Steam Network. All future Arma patches will only be distributed by Steam so this really is the way to go. Neat App if you ask me. Cheers

No clue, I am very happy with both their customer support, their hardware and their control panel for managing your server. They always answer to questions within one or two days and do more than what is expected. Very nice indeed! I've been with them since early march this year.

DMR' s can be found in barracks and at heli crashes. Coyote Back Packs are only spawning at military spawn points. Check the dayzdb.com/map for the spawn points!

Hey! We've moved on to the Steam network since Gamespy is shutting down. The arma beta is updated (most bugs gone, yay) and thats why it isnt visible in DayZ Commander anymore. I've written a guide on how to update your arma to be able to see DayZ Europa again in the DayZ Europa Steam Group. I'll post it here aswell; DayZ Europa has been updated to the latest Arma Beta Patch and the only way to get that patch is via Steam. How to join DayZ Europa (DayZ Europa has been updated to the latest Arma Beta Patch and the only way to get that patch is via Steam) 1.Start Steam and open your Game Library. 2.Right click Arma2OA and choose "Properties". Click the "Betas" tab and scroll down to and choose "NONE - Opt out of all Betas". 3.Now we need to do the same thing with Arma2 DayZ Mod, If you dont have the Arma2 DayZ Mod you can download it from SteamStore. Once you have it, right click it and choose properties, choose "Betas" tab and select "NONE - Opt out of all Betas". 4.Start Arma2DayZ Mod. 5.Press Mulitplayer. Now you are at the Server Browser page. 6.Make sure the left bottom says "Adress Internet" and not "Lan", press "Filter" and type Europa in Host. Click OK. You should see the server and be able to join! 7.When asking if you want to play with beta patch or not, choose "Play Arma DayZ Mod" don't choose "Play with beta patch". See you online!

I don't think it's dead, the developers are developing for it again (thanks kichilron and R4Z0R49) and the mod is better than ever if you ask me. However getting the same player numbers as earlier will require time and patience. Most of the players I get on my server are either new to the mod, old timers wanting vanilla and alot of players from SA that are tired of running and the lack of vehicles. I even get players that are getting tired of the easy mode mods like yourself remembering why they started playing DayZ in the first place, the chills and adrenaline rush when you know you can and are about to loose it all. I think server owners have to start over when running vanilla DayZ Mod, as someone stated earlier the momentum was kinda lost before 1.8.1 finally came out. Remember that all the server owners that offer 10000+ vehicles and so on are running a race they cant win since everyone else is offering the same thing, but a little better. So the players move there, And then to another server. And another. I dont think any server owner wants players like that anyway. I know I don't. My server saw a boost in players when moving on to Steam and some nights I have 30+ players on. Im happy with that because its good for a vanilla DayZ Server as for now. However in the future with new updates from the dev's this mod will hopefully be one of the most played again, I'm sure. Cheers /Vinyl

That's the broken Arma beta 112555, not DayZ Mod 1.8.1 Once my server moved on to a newer Arma beta the exhaustion bug was gone.

So what you are saying is that I can't hit you with a bullet if you are sitting in a chopped down tree? Seems odd since you can run/drive through them once chopped down. Please explain, And thanks.
