We see a lot of pretty well geared groups roaming the map. It's gonna be yet another great weekend! And the server runs great even when 50 players are online. Cheers -
Hey Anti, I am pretty sure thats the result of Infistar Anti Hack not being configured correctly. You need to talk to the admin of the server you are playing on. We had the same problem once and it's easy to fix. I might be able to help if he/she doesn't know how to. Cheers.

Stuck on Wait For Host screen

Also the 1.227 update of battleye was no good for alot of players resulting in "wait for host" messages when trying to join a server. We had over 440 "client not responding" kicks the day before yesterday on our server. I e-mailed battleye and they were aware of the problem and released a fix in 1.228 as of last night. If your BE client doesn't update automatically when joining a BE-enabled server you can download the new version from battleye.com http://www.battleye.com/downloads/arma2oa/BEClient.dll Cheers -

I run a fairly popular one in Europe called DayZ Europa. See my signature and welcome! Edit: DayZ Mod has self blood bag since 1.8.1 but it's a bit different as it only restores 4K blood.

Had the same problem but started announcing the restarts just 10, 5 and 1 minute prior to restart instead of 30 and that helped, Seemed alot of players logged off when the 30 minute warning came up, Mind trix :)

How often do you restart US434 Geryon? Im at a 3h restart interval.

Hey, a question for you developers regarding the fog. It's so dense and so often now that some players are starting to question if it's really normal. Is it? Is there some way to set it differently? What decides the ammount of fog? I remembers seeing the weather file in one of the pbo's earlier but cant seem to find it anymore. What do you other vanilla server owners say? Geryon? Baker? Skydive? Do you also have alot of fog? Thanks and have a nice weekend.

Hey red_coreSix! I am glad you like the server. We decided to turn side chat off for a number of reasons as Vidko stated but we have some nice alternatives. Register at our forums (dayzeuropa.com/forums) were you can talk to other players, also we have a Teamspeak (ts.dayzeuropa.com) for all our players to use.
