I dunno, people already don't like playing at night, mostly because of people using the gamma glitch I'd say, but making it harder at night won't really help the way the game is right now. If the gamma glitch was somehow fixed, even then, why strain your eyes and have a harder time when you can just play on a daytime server. I myself among others would welcome the challenge of this idea (if the gamma glitch was fixed) but I think the majority wouldn't. Perhaps that can be fixed with incentives to play at night instead e.g. rare loot becoming less rare?

Melee is now a Joke in Experimental- Fists more effective then Fire-Axe

Well you don't need to write a rage post about it like it is the end of the world either. Why is it so hard to put forth your opinion without sounding like a spoilt child? -

Perhaps that's why it is on experimental, they are testing balance...ever thought of that? -

You know the I.P. in R.I.P. stands for in peace right?
-
Not to the same extend as on 3PP.
-
Easy fix, don't play on 3PP servers, this has been a problem for a long long time.

Looking back, Do you think that EA release was a good idea?

It seems a lot of people seem to ignore the "Alpha" part in "Early Access Alpha". -
How often do you find a Long Range Scope?
weedmasta replied to TheRealDen's topic in General Discussion
Now that the tent cities spawn stuff again, it shouldn't be a problem finding one. -
Also this reminds me of this :D "Heavy is good. Heavy is reliable. If it does not work, you can always hit him with it."
-
So it is just a matter of taste then, nothing else.
-
Yea it is, when you are watching Rambo. :D

Poll: Are you happy with update news/management?
weedmasta replied to Ugly (DayZ)'s topic in General Discussion
You should add another option like "could be better" which I would go for. A lot of information can be found in the Dev tracker section of the forums which a lot of people either don't know about or check, same with reddit and then you have the loosely worded devblogs. However I must say that isn't the best way to inform people as it is really cluttered and all over the place. So you kinda have to dig around for the information. I also agree with the lack of info about experimental builds. All we need is a changelog thread in the Announcement section with timestamps (i.e. what date that change/fix was added). Same with the stable build changelog. When new stuff is added, it is just added on the current list and there is no way of telling what is new and what isn't unless you paid specific attention to all fixes/changes. Just add a timestamp next to each fix/change and post them. This way players which are also essentially your testers can be more effective at testing new features/changes/fixes. As for the forums issue, they are paying attention to the forums, they just don't respond to people on here and I don't blame them, it is just chaos in here and I feel sorry for the guys who have to go through all that garbage to get some feedback and report it to the devs. -
Are you sure you are not mixing it up with the other black vest?

"Things" are still the same? This is another game, it is another company and you are assuming that some 'things" are the same and assuming that these "things" apply to Dayz (despite not being affiliated with BI in anyway) and you think that these assumptions warrant facts? Damn that is a lot of assumptions. Good luck with anyone taking you seriously.
-
You should read through the sensible replies here since you still seem to be missing the point. Your impatience has nothing to do with the success or the lack thereof, of the game. When someone tells you it is "Alpha" that does not equal to fanboism or defending the game. These people are perfectly aware of most if not all of the bugs plaguing the game and instead of coming on here to complain about it like little kids begging for ice cream or making assumption without any idea what is going on, they contribute and post the bugs on bug tracker. And if they are not happy with a feature they discuss it constructively (well for the most part :D) preferably by using the search function first. Read through your post. Ask yourself, what is the purpose of it and be honest with yourself, you may just understand.
-
How do you know this? Do you work at BI? Are you affiliated to them? Are you an expert on releasing Alpha stage games? According to what are you judging that it is too small of a team? Are you a financial expert? I doubt any of the above and yet you are making assumptions based on nothing really except your own impatience about the development of the game. So no, your message is not an argument, it is an assumption made without any knowledge and trying to make it look like it is fact. I am not debating whether your assumption is true or not but whether it is even based on any evidence and well... it isn't.
-
Criticising something constructively is one thing, making assumptions based on wild fantasies, calling people thieves and making a thread about something that has been discussed to hell and back is another. This thread unfortunately like many others have nothing to do with constructive criticisms, it is no different than just typing "you guys suck" and there is no purpose in such a thread. There were plenty of threads the mods allowed despite their useless nature, one in which a person claimed to be a fellow developer and how he has concerns about the game and the thread went on for pages. However his attitude of criticism (even though it was heavily biased and tried to portray assumptions as fact) soon changed to making up facts and calling anyone who didn't agree with him, names. So the topic was closed. I suggest you take a good hard look at yourselves and try to be fair. You were warned not to buy the game, you were warned it was Alpha, you were warned the game wasn't complete and likely wasn't going to be fun. If you agreed to that and paid for the game, it makes you look stupid when you start complaining about it based on assumptions with little knowledge about the game, its developement and the company.

You either have to gift it or buy it with his account.

Did you even read what I wrote? That has nothing to do with what I said.

I don't know am I kidding you?

I don't know why we keep discussing the same stufff over and over again. As said multiple times before, you can't compare the dev team of a game that is being build from scratch (Star Citizen) to a game that is heavily based on an existing engine (SA). Add to that, that once released, SC will have microtransactions which will continue to generate revenue unlike SA. So no it isn't a good question, it is a stupid question which you are asking without thinking.
