All H1Z1 will be doing is draw gamers away for a little while imo. Planetside 2 engine is crap and tbh I don't have much expectations from H1Z1. Also they have already made more money than they'd hoped for, competition is not really an issue any more. -

Doesn't look any different to how the game looks for me and I am using a mid-high range computer from 3 years ago.

Why not play Arma III, far better combat experience in every way especially with the inclusion of Zeus.

No snipers are so much hated in the game because a lot of people don't know how to react/deal/be ready for snipers engaging them. I'd hate snipers too if I ran in the middle of a main road like a headless chicken.

While we are at it lets make clothing rare too and you have to craft mandiapers from deer skin. :p

You were talking about 600 meter shots, over-watch position and taking notes for ranging, so you were clearly in a sniping spot and not getting shot at. Also that is why you aim a little lower than usual when you fire from/to an elevated position. Yea no doubt not seeing the impact of the bullet is a problem.

First off, I will take my time to ridicule your thread title. Second, I don't think the loot is balanced yet and logically I'd say right now it is the way it is for testing purposes. The more people use these weapons the easier it'll be to find most if not all related bugs. However going with that logic, it doesn't make sense that pistol spawns are rarer and their magazines even more so. vov

Nope but people have been complaining of similar issues. Also I suggest you use the in-game map for ranging stuff, it is more accurate.

How are they making vehicles for the future of DayZ?

The idea is to make modular vehicle parts which are interchangeable and that is the extend of info given to us so far I believe. So they are not simply going add vehicles like they did in the mod from vanilla Arma II. -

That is because instead of simply modifying like they did in the mod, they are actually remaking/adding whole parts of it. -

Currently I play both Vanilla and Breaking Point and I don't see much difference to Arma 2, I haven't heard or seen any other mods with regards to gamma glitching. -
I know it is a known issue, I have seen screenshots and even videos of glitched magazines (which is what is called hard evidence btw) and there are plenty of threads about it. However that doesn't change the fact that the OP's "evidence" is highly assumptious...Also last time I checked Mosin's don't use mags and can only load 5 rounds and so far only reports of ammo glitches pertain to magazines and stacks of ammo, not the weapons themselves. It seems to me that he died, got pissed off and called hacks like a lot of "junior players" do unfortunately without any substantial proof. Would also explain why he didn't use the search function and decided to post a "rage" thread instead.

I think it'll be awhile before we see that detailed damage models on vehicles in ANY game really.

Are you sure about that? Last time I checked (and I play Arma 3 frequently) the gamma exploit works almost just as well as it did in Arma 2. -
Well when it comes to hacking you need hard evidence. Otherwise no one will take you seriously making accusations based on assumptions.

I don't know why you took it so personally, I was merely stating an example of how I don't like a certain play style; however that not liking it does not give me the right to dismiss that play style. Well perhaps it is because of a lot of people who are trying to loot only use 30% of the map and opportunists try to take advantage of it. If I was a dedicated bambi killer, I too would hang around the place with the most fresh spawns. Also 2 minutes? I have never been shot at, 2 minutes after I spawned and I have been playing Dayz since the early days of the mod. The introduction to the game just reflects the steep learning curve of the game, there is nothing wrong with that and if anyone is having trouble there are plenty of sources out there to help players on their way. This is not a forgiving game, nor was it ever meant to be.

Gotta have a look at that, I am not particularly fond of the vanilla ARCO. -
As long as they listen to me and respond I'll give them the benefit of doubt. If they are acting shady, always shoot first, ask questions later.

I wouldn't mind to see a RCO (Arma III) equivalent scope in SA, that scope just rocks my socks. -
It is though. Death is part of this game and the challenge of survival more so. Who are you to tell people how to play in an open world just because you don't agree with a certain play style? I don't like people who claim they are "heroes", gear up to the brim, go to the coast and "help" new spawns and kill "bandits (which is another word for other geared players they spot)" and to be quiet frank, I find that play style rather dumb to say the least especially when said "heroes" complain about getting shot in the face when they try to help someone. However I don't go around and tell them "that is not how the game is supposed to be played", if they want to play as self proclaimed, pompous heroes, let them.
