Yea i'd say the coupled mag definitely however if you have found more 30 or 40 round mags stick with one type of mag so you don't get the option to switch mags, which can be very annoying when drinking or doing other tasks that involve the scroll menu. Also, you don't have to reload a coupled mag until all 60 rounds are depleted.

You don't need filters to breathe in a gas mask. A filter is what it is, a FILTER. It only filters the air you breathe in, it doesn't hinder you from breathing if you don't have it on. -
Well see the problem isn't the people suggesting things for SA, the problem is the people whining and moaning how this game is incomplete and utter shit and how they wasted their money and how rocket is not putting any updates because he ran off with all the money and bladiblabla whinydywhine.

Zombies will get more dangerous and their numbers will increase in the future. That'll mean that you can't just shoot people without having at least a mini horde on your ass. More zombies will encourage cooperation. Also if you ever think this game is going to be about PVE, you have clearly bought the wrong game and should post your rage quit thread now.

Industrial areas also have a chance of spawning both ammunition and mags. Also shotguns are not in the game yet even though the ammo is.

Pro tip: Drop off your own backpack and pick theirs up as soon as they are dead. You'll usually have enough time if you are close enough. -

None taken but I disagree completely and you would know why if you knew Rocket/Dean at all and what Dayz has always been about. What you are talking about is what a company like EA would do for a game like the BF series, same shit over and over with more weapons and shinier graphics and the odd "new" gamemode. Dayz is on a whole different level, a higher one I'd say both in terms of community relations as well as development. They care about the community and the development of the game. They were just lucky enough to hit the right niche and became successful.

Especially like the night time suggestion. Some ideas are bad like the class system and rewarding people with good behaviour. First classes just will restrict the game and you already get rewarded by helping someone by getting a new friend or at least an extra set of hands that can help you out in that gameplay session. Survival isn't about good guys and bad guys. It is about SURVIVING as the name suggests. Marking friendlies also a terrible idea.

This isn't some deathmatch game where you need game modes to make it more interesting. I think this goes into the top 10 worst ideas for Dayz ever, gj :)

The only quarrel with losing gear for me is when I get killed even though I knew I shouldn't have i.e. I make a stupid mistake and pay the price. Otherwise I don't really care about gear. However that is not to say gear isn't important or should not be cared about at all, as looting is a good portion of the game and without it you cannot survive. -
How does blowing yourself up have anything to do with a survival game? It'll just end up getting abused and exploited. Bad idea.

You need to drink lots and lots of water and eat a lot as well. Not to the point where you are full though. I don't know if throwing up from overfeeding solves poisoning. I had to give 2 saline bags to my m8 to keep him alive but he overcame it after the second saline bag. Gave the first one when he lost color, then again when he lost color a second time and in the mean time he drank and ate food and took vitamins (we couldn't find charcoal tablets either) -
That is the beauty of Dayz. You can create your own backstory. You don't need the game to give you one at the start and limiting the possibilities.
