Well if I must contribute, yes helping others/not KOS'ing is actually a challenge in my opinion which I like to try to tackle from time to time. However I believe that is mostly stroking your own ego rather than showing your "humanity" as with everything else really, just like KOS'ing.

Would make sense if the regular would be a main weapon and the sawn-off a sidearm that you can store in your inventory. Would be even more awesome if we could put it in the holster.

If you keep insisting on what you are saying is correct even though it isn't and even though multiple people tell you that you are wrong, well you don't have a clue buddy. As for why you'd lower your view distance, yes it is for FPS reasons but I don't recall mentioning anything about that in my post. Lol you really don't have a clue about this game do you? The server side setting is a max setting for the clients on the server i.e. you can't have a higher view distance than the view distance set by the server. However you can always have a lower view distance setting client side if you wish to do so. -
