Wait so: 1. You still insist on not telling us what you worked on and what your job was. 2. You want to start a discussion in a forum where the majority of people are players and yet you talk down to them that they are not developers and how much more you know about developing games. 3. Questioning something is one thing, claiming things based on wild assumptions and trying to make it sound like it is fact is completely different. Is this just an ego trip of a very weak personality I wonder. -

Who is the Hero and who is the Bandit here? (sarcastic question) Also why give him a saline bag out in the open knowing he could have another player with him? You guys need to learn the art of hostage taking as that was really one of the worst approaches and got your m8 killed. -
Hmm never had any problems dying or breaking legs in the castles (both in the mod and SA). At the moment there is very little loot in them and mostly it is useless. I wouldn't change my route to get to one in this build.

I smell a bit of jealousy here. I also do not understand why you are insisting on not telling us what your actual job was, developing these "games" you keep talking about. How do you expect to start a legitimate discussion when the majority of your claims are not legitimate to begin with? -

It isn't the only way to go. Nor is helping every other stranger that you meet. Do I KOS, of course I do, when I feel that I am threatened, need loot and am not in the right position to mug someone or get shot at (last one not really being KOS'ing). But I also help people when the opportunity presents itself and I am feeling charitable; and if I think they have gear that I could use I try to mug them if I have the upper hand. This is the beauty of the game. You are not forced to play any one single way in a life. You can do anything you want, why limit yourself to one style? That is so one dimensional.

I have never heard/read Dean even hint that a console port is imminent. Also I too buy games based on the fact that it has shotguns in it 8l. So many empty and false assumptions, I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for you and help you get that tinfoil hat off. -

With regards to Zombies, they have given plenty of information about how the development is going. ETA is, when it is done and working as intended.

It all depends where you look for loot. If you are looking at firestations and military spawns you are more likely to find FNX's and M4s. In residential and industrial areas you are more likely to find Mosin and Revolver (you can't find M4 in those areas anyway)

And what would stop ppl from using voip over their smartphone or ipad or even another computer? There is no way to enforce it. Also op if you know it is a lost battle why post a useless thread?

What if it is just a regular survivor who happened upon a dead body? Why should they be "painted" or have an "explosion" in their face? Also many KOS'ers do it for the thrill of killing, not for loot. A lot of them will just leave the body there, especially the sniper type of KOS'ers.

It really depends on the situation really. If I have the upper hand/the opportunity I rather rob someone than outright shoot them without any warning. A lot of people seem to be under the impression that just because someone KOS'ed you, they do it all the time. They don't.

There is tons of content out there already to learn about the game, to understand and to enjoy it. There are already all these starter, basic, survival and navigation videos on youtube. They just have to look. Improvised backpacks as an example. I saw a thread about someone complaining that they couldn't find the items to make one. I knew one was going to be added but I didn't know it was already implemented. So instead of asking dumb questions or making a new thread, I went on youtube and typed "Dayz burlap backpack" and voila. Faster than waiting for a response on the forums. ;) -
They will not do such a thing, unless you are trolling, then sorry for feeding the troll :p
