Actually you can be pretty accurate with the M4 upto 700 meters if you have the right conditions and attachments. Also I have no problem scouting with the ACOG sight.

I would never let someone go who has a firearm and ammo. Take one or the other then release him. Especially him being unresponsive, you are just asking for trouble.

The infection gave fruits the ability to grow on tables and on shelves. Sounds realistic to me.

Hmm, this sounds suspiciously similar to the youtube video I watched earlier. I would have just disarmed him and let him go on his way in that situation. If I didn't have handcuffs however to disarm him and he didn't drop his guns, I would have shot him as well. Kinda strange that no one in your group had handcuffs to secure him.

If he is watching over a starter town with a sniper rifle there is a big chance he is a KOSer. So taking him out was probably the safer option. On the other hand, you could have waited and watched him to see what he does and made sure. Then again a lot of people who claim they are "heroes" take out armed people at the coast assuming that they are bandits/KOS'ers. If it was me I would have done the same as you did and not take any chances. If he was that exposed as a sniper he deserves to die either way ;)

I wouldn't say the Mosin is an effective CQB weapon at all. If you miss that first shot you'll most likely end up dead. When fielding the Mosin, make sure you carry a sidearm (FNX or Revolver) which are much better choices in CQB situations compared to the Mosin. M4 has many uses, excels at CQB and can be a formidable mid-long range weapon if you have the right attachments. Plus suppressive fire, hells yea :)

So you keep dying like a noob while others have survived for weeks on the same character and you tell them that they have below average IQ. I don't think logic is your thing buddy.

And how is posting it on the General Discussions forums any better than bug reporting it/voting it up on bugtracker, especially after saying that you know how an alpha works? :huh: On the other hand, yes it is a missing feature and I am sure they are working on it. Also there is at least one building I know of which spawns loot now that didn't before. The two story white barns with the stairs on each side.

Any reason why the sound is so crap? Sounds like a freezer in the background. Also: - dat situational awareness - dat running towards the enemy after they started shooting at you - dat engaging in a firefight against 2 or more people with little ammo and spraying and praying

Exactly, where else are you going to get them free rags and batteries from? :D On a serious note, once again, running around the coast looking for bambis and expecting not to get killed...how naive are you exactly? And add the fact the after next patch ruined items won't be useable.

Doesn't take much to make that second one. I however couldn't pull off the first one most likely.

I find it very lacking myself. Shot two guys in the chest from 3-4 meters (one shell each), they bled but no fucks were given. A shotgun at that range should do much more damage, at the very least knock you out.

Yea I had a sawn-off shotgun and a standoff with 2 guys in the guardhouse at green mountain. Despite my warnings via VOIP, they didn't respond and tried to enter the building anyway. I was at the corner by the stairs looking at the front door (4 meters maybe away from the door) first guy comes in, I blap him in the chest with one shell and nothing. Well I saw the blood and saw him bleeding but, no fucks were given. Same with his m8 who tried to come in as well shortly after. Blap him in the chest with one shell, nada. Lucky for me my m8 was close by flanking around them as I kept them busy and we (well he) ended up killing both. TL;DR sawn-off shotgun is crap, maybe it'll be better with the buff but I doubt it.

Can we get a refund on our 5 minutes wasted?
