have been trying for 3 weeks now, i got my PC upgraded, follwed THREE different walkthrus on how to install it, and i get the same fucking message EVERYTIME i try and join a server " Please remove these files or download additional acceptance keys " so much fucking time and money put into something i cant and wont fucking play its so fucking frustrating, why could the asshole who made this mod make it easy to use?? fuck fuck fuck fuck

been trying for 3 weeks now. mabey write out a whole, detailed walk thru on install it? keeping in mind i have a disc copy of arma 2 and the OA from the combined ops pack off steam ( only OA was downloaded from the pack, Arma 2 was paused and remains paused ) also, how to use Dayz commander or whatever luancher you tell me to use. id really be thankfull

i get many messages saying things about deleted content, or acceptance keys, getting kicked or just a bad rejected connection....i can understand that joining a server may not be easy...but 3 weeks later and i cant join any....its just frustrating, what am i doing wrong? i have not played this mod ONCE damm it!!

the problem is in my first post. " deleted content, or acceptance keys, getting kicked or just a bad rejected connection " basicly, i can not join a server, it would not matter if i explained the exact problem, because for 1, i do not know myself, THATS WHY IM FUCKING ASKING, and 2, if someone has not had the same problem as me, then chances are they will not know how to fix it, so by just putting in key words like i did, mabey someone who has had the same problem will recognise!

i cant download them again for a 3rd time because it takes DAYS! 3 days last time for one fucking game! and thats 3 WHOLE days too, have verified the files on steam, did not do fuck all, have spent 3 weeks looking on google, youtube, yahoo and nothing, not a fucking thing that helps me out, why does this seem to work for every other cunt but me? why me? my PC can handle it, i PAID to make sure of that, and now im just left with a bigger, louder PC with a shitty military sim game that i have no plans to use. fuck man!

all i got on troubleshooting was one guy asking me to skype and another guy taking offence when i politley turned down the offer, and i figure this being SERVER GENERAL, somebody would actually help me instead of pointlessly telling me to go somewhere else, now kindly do not post on this thread if you have nothing of value to say to me, thank you

what so you can record it, make fun of me and put it on youtube? fuck you asshole, seriously go fuck youre self, i seen this exact thing on another thread on this forum, so guy offerd help via skype, the guy refused and someone ( may have been you ) thry to order him to do it, im not even sure what skype is, is a video chat? coz i dont even have a webcam

operation arrowhead was from steam, arma2 from disc, i think i did that the last time and nothing happend

and what do you mean by console dweeb? do you realise that as soon as this game comes out for consoles pretty mucg NO ONE will be playing it on the crappy PC, and you will have no friends....

Download both arma2 and OA? the thing is, i have paused ARM2 because doing it at the same time as OA slows it down, and it is slow enuff, i have a RETAIL version of ARMA2 wich is now installed, so will that be ok or do i HAVE to download ARMA2 from steam as well??

ok. im downloading ARMA2 free patch 1.11 from the link in the dayz installer wiki, that going to be ok? i was only worried because i techinicly have not donwloaded the FULL combined ops pack and did not know if it would work....do you happen to know of any good installer video walkthroughs? lol ones that are simple and dont use too many technical terms, a noob walkthru basicly?

I just dont know how to get it started ffs =[ every youtube video i watch on how to do it has a different look to my own PC setup wise, written guides just dont help at all because the folk who write them seem to think that everyone is blessed with knowledge on how to get into game directorys and such....fuck man

i could not play it yesterday, i think what i done wrong was this, a first, i brought combined ops from steam, downloaded them, took 2 days, turned out my PC could not play it ( should have checked that first really, my bad ) so i paid a guy i know to give my PC n upgrade, when i got the pc back, combined ops had been wiped clean, so i had to re download it from steam, after 3 days, operation arrowhead was at 37% abd Arma 2 only 8%, so i STOPED downloading arma 2 and continued with OA, i then found a disc copy of arma 2 in town ( took 30 minits to install =/ ) and it worked, bit laggy but it worked, then when OA finally downloaded i could not run it via steam, wich is a must, right? so i hace uninstalled them both and i really cant be botherd to wait another 4 or 5 days to re install them ( 24.99 wasted ) so if get OA off of ebay, will dayz work?

and if i use 2 retai copys, i will have no more use for STEAM> like, i wont need it to play Dayz? coz im sick of the sight of that shit n wanna delete it lol

thanks, yeah i think i may have issues with that as i dont know where some of the files have sneaked off to, if i have to wipe the whole thing clean i may do that lol
