I have spent lots of time and money getting my PC upgraded to play this game, i cant join servers, there is no way i am banned as i am yet to play the game even once.i keeps saying " no entry " and something abot " CAsigns2 " before you try and help me, please note I CANT launch game via steam as admin ( dont know why ) I have a retail copy of ARMA 2 and a steam copy of OA I have already got DAYZ COMMANDER and its not helping This is actually starting to upset me as i have spent most of my free time since wednesday trying to get this game up and running, i really feel like smashing my Comp up at times out of frustration, i think i may have to wait a while until it is ported to the cosoles....

i tried but i dont know how to find the location of my arma download. its ok tho forgett it, im just gunna give up and wait for the console port =[ thanks for youre efforts tho guys

i can only launch it on steam via windowed mode, that ok? i think im the admin. i keep getting to the point were im choosing serever, sometimes it says in top corner ( Rick grimes 104MS ) and its flashing red and the number keeps changing? whats that about? btw rick grimes is my profile name, it just wont let me join ANY servers....

no, took me 4 days to download one game, am not doing that agin, thanks for trying tho

is it essential that i launch OA at least once via steam? coz everytime i do i get the same error message " data file too short " is it worth it to try and uninstall steam and re install it> coz i had a bit of a problem putting it in a folder first time i installed it and dont remeber what happend

now it says " 1 file failed to validate and is required " and nothing has started to download =[

* face palm * i dont have arma 2 on STEAM..........

Is that why its not working? because i got Combined ops but only downloaded OA??

i caNT CHECK arma 2 COZ I PAUSED THE DOWNLOAD COZ IT WAS TAKING SO LONG, I GOT THE BOXED COPY AND INSTALLED THAT, DOES THAT MATTER? =[

dayz KINDA Works, i get to the choose a server point, and thats what stops me, it simply wont let me join any

gunna try the verify intergity thing again now it has downloaded

i just tried to repair those files and went for a ciggerete, when i came back it had 34% next to OA......so will give it one more try...stay with me guys PLEEEEEASE =]

because nothing is fucking simple when it comes to software, i only seen the option to download SIXUPDATER PREVIEW, it asked me to register or log in, i clicked on register, a blank screen came up and stayed blank for over 3o minits b4 i closed it down

last time i tried that, a little 0% appeard next to the ARMA OA download, and going on past trouble with steam ( taking over 90hours to download OA ) i quit it

it wont let me RUN OA VIA STEAM.....i have said that about 12 times today =[

yes installed many beta patches, as soon as it finieshed i extractred the files using some file extractor programms

and sorry if i seem stressy...but 14 hours man.....havent eaten, taken a shower or anything, and its 6 30 AM

i have been sitin here at my computer for 14 hours trying to find a simple way to play this fucking game, EVERY video i watch or thing i read gets way too technical at some point, dont get me wrong i didnt think it would be easy, but i didnt expect it to be this hard, i would uninstall both games and reinstall them to start again but it took me 4 fucking days to download them. i CANT run OA via steam, i get the same error message " Data file too short " every server i join says " no entry" "CAsign2"" you were kicked from the server "" install additional acceptance keys".....i fucking give up, i just cant do this no more fuck it

I need to delete addons like 2/addons/air2.pbo ect the only addon on the list i found in my game files is the animals one...and i deleted it...will it work now??? i need to remove these game files or install additional acceptance keys
