Lucky you :P my friends don't wanna play this xD bunch of fags said they wait for the standalone, heh. I tried approaching a dude yesterday, turns out he's a bandit with another friend of his, chased me half of Elektro. Good thing i had an axe and some brains. Got in a house where range counts for nothing and slaughtered them ... The second one actually tried to run, but i caught him. My first encounter that ended up with THEM dead rather than me after the "don't shoot, im friendly" phase, lol. Now i'm still a loner, but at least i got a decent weapon, beans (yay!) and water to keep me alive. Still waiting for the magic moment when another human being won't want to cut me open and wear me as a hat.

LOL It amuses me how on the brink of extinction, we still manage to backstab and kill others for petty reasons. Cooperation will always be better than being a loner, that's a given. Even though i failed to meet a friendly to this day, I still hope there's at least another decent person to team up with to cope with the boredom, if nothing else :P Who wants to hook up in-game, drop me a line :P i'm decent by my standards, lol Skype: omu-prajiturik Either that or this A crazy dude will have to do in lack of something else ^_^

2 armed bandits chasing me, holding mha Axe. Entered a building and waited for them, where i could get up close and personal, cause of the cramped space. I exited that building full with weapons and provisions. I was shacking with adrenaline ! :D

Heh, thanks for the input. Did not know about the dayzcommander, i'll be sure to check it out. Regarding meeting friendlies, I would prefer meeting them ingame too (as i mentioned, i am not the greatest forum user there was). I had my share of deaths and i did not stop trying to find friendlies. The last time i tried, i ended up being chased by 2 bandits, but caught them in a building in elektro where weapons don't have the range advantage and chopped them up. Nothing says "let's be friends" like lead flying around you, then an axe to the face ^_^ The forum was kind of a last resort , or a different perspective, in case i'm missing something. I'll be sure to try your approach when i will meet someone else around :P

Hey guys, Been playing DayZ for some time, mostly alone since none of my friends have this game and was wondering what options do i have regarding teaming up with other friendlies. I kind of began getting used to surviving alone, but I feel I'm missing out of fun as a loner. The occasional "Don't shoot, I'm friendly" ended up with dead, because of paranoid people, or plain bandits. Since I'm not a forum person myself, this is kind of a last resort for me, heh. I've been reading a bit around the forums, but i got some useful and some outdated info. So the question is : What choices do i have if i want to find a group of friendlies ? I'm from the EU region and would prefer an EU server with an english speaking group. Thanks.
