I don't understand your point, I've read this before, the feature is server side. It's just a subtle way of doing what Rocket mention there. -

It could work, Idk how i feel about it until i test it though.. If it applies to both zombies and players maybe.. but I can see it being a pain in the ass if you're just trying to walk somewhere. Maybe if it only applies to stressful situations, or sprinting -

put a None as an answer for the poll, For balancing I only agree with two. I don't want to vote for something I don't agree with either. Also End game should be changed to Group play, maybe. I don't see the radio tower or power plant being a reason to end the game. -

"So I like to think the story of what happens in the 'DayZ' world will be driven by the players" I am not talking about what happens in the DayZ world. I'm talking about what happen before it. But I get what you're saying and I agree. To have a cut scene or quest would be God awful and I sure as hell don't want to find a book that tells me I need 10 bear asses. But let's face it, DayZ has a lot of down time. Some Nostalgic reading of Operation Harvest red would do some good To be honest, I'd rather have no lore, than bad lore. You've done well thus far with DayZ, you'll make the right call on stories ;) -

pretty good points, It validates the reason there are western equipment in chernarus, And yeah I'd like to see early news papers about the infection spreading and stuff. Maybe even audio/video logs of it from news rooms -

Well, historical lore. Not really following a storyline in the present ;) sorry if i confused you Dyslexia ;) -
I disagree, With the Arma2 campaign, a entire war was fought in Chernogorsk! There could be minefields left over from that ;) I think it would be neat, to use Arma2s campaign as lore for DayZ. News papers talking about Team Razor from Harvest Red or the Czech Republic campaign. Stuff like that. It would be amazing for old Arma2 vets to have Arma2 lore.

My suggestion placed really well, spec when the ones above it has been confirmed ;) YEAHHHH i.e. Hordes, Enter-able buildings, crafting, animations has all been confirmed in one way or the other.
