Yea, I understand that. It could also be a alt. to having the primary slot taken up by the melee weapon. And I don't want a whole list of melee weapons like there are for guns I'd honestly rather have the action menu way of selecting your melee weapon, rather then the primary slot being taken up. but I also think the primary slot being used is kinda neat in a way. so i tried to put the two together -

I'm curious if people play this game, like they play every other game, or if they treat this game as if it is it's own beast. When I play DayZ, I try to play like I act in real life. I don't look at DayZ as a video game, it is suppose to be "anti-game" so why treat it like one. Did you start off playing aggressive, shoot on sight or where you friendly. I want to know how many people started off friendly, and was turned in to a bandit or try to stay friendly or started as bandits and stayed one threw out their DayZ experience . I'd like to know both, how you started and how you play now. I'm also curious if you treat this game like it's "real", or do you treat DayZ like every other game. I ask cause I want to improve a suggestion I made. i.e. http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7036 I'm want to know if players really want to kill each other or not. are we "pushed" that way due to the way the way game is. Honestly, there is nothing to do except promote your combat efficiency and test your skills/gear on other players. So I also pose the question, those who do kill for loot, or just kill to kill. if there was more "optional objectives" like cars/heli where in place, would you still SoS, or would you try to accomplish those objectives by grouping up? If players where giving a opportunity to do other things as groups, would they. or would they just keep killing each other like it is now. P.s. I'm a defensive player that leans friendly, but started friendly. I don't want to remove PvP either. Threatening players is a big part of the game, It should always be a factor. well it depends on how bad the leg is broken. and how much your adrenaline is pumping. if your bone is broken in two, you are not going to walk on it. maybe if they put 2 levels of broken bones in game

There should be sub-genera for the suggestion forums the suggestion thread have gotten really big and should be broken up for better organization. e.g. Weapons PvE PvP Msic.

I like the idea of a laser pointer for communicating purposes, I.e. pointing positions to other players. I know a lot of guns have a PEQ, that has a IR laser, they might be able to switch it out to be a red laser. The Arma2 guns PEQ don't work through, M16a4 has a PEQ-2 but it doesn't work since they didn't put it in Arma2, maybe it could be modded in though 3 star idea but i'll give it 4 ;)

I may catch some flack for this suggestion ;) and it is just a suggestion, I'm not putting out my full support. I want to see what ya'll think through. In Arma2, PMC fraction. the Field medic and Tac. Driver has less inventory space these should be the starter skins and you have less inv. but you should be able to find skins like the "Security contractor" skin that will increase your inv. space to normal Also the ghillie and woodland camo skins will increase your inventory space. This skin will not be hard to find, you just will not start with it.

cartridges* not exploded rounds lol I recommend you change the terminology so people will take you more serious ;) my 1st thought was that it could cause lag. But!!! if they down size the amount tin cans, and cause this to be a loot-able item (that you can throw and distract zombies) and despawn after X amount of time passes. it could be a pretty neat feature. could also use them to track players and what not witch is always a + originally it was going to be a 2 star, but i'll give it 4 stars! the more i think about it the more I like it

Honestly, with the way the LOS zombies, and melee weapons now. no thanks ;) -
they should be attracted to the white light, but they will not see the red flashlights since red doesn't fuck with the eyes like white does. P.s. instead of a military flashlight (that's red) they should have red lens that you can attach to your light, E.g. M4, G17, Flashlight, etc. 4 star suggestion!

if humanity has to be a feature, then this is nice. but humanity is stupid en-general.
