Hello Here is my personaly opinion, and this is coming from an old school gamer, which had to deal with total shit games compared to now, anyone remember TW2002 or Major Mud? Lol yeah. If you are looking for a polished well put together no issue game, you shouldnt be playing ANYTHING with DayZ in the name. With that said, if you want raw, feels gritty, almost like youre apart of the game, buy DAYZ- Alpha. No there is barely any zombies. Yes they are coming. No there is not much loot, but honestly there shouldnt be. The fight mechanics need work, but they are decent enough. Yes there is some bugs, but IMO alot more in the mod version. The game is "shady" feeling and drab, like a post-apoc-zombie game SHOULD be. There are tons of improvements coming, but i would say, its worth the 29$ now, because you will get a full spectrum on the game as it devolopes. The game right now feels TRUE post-apoc. Which is why you should be looking at playing. Play on a "full" server, or byyourself to get the hang of whats going on. Either way, so far so fun.

Hello, I am looking for other like minded players to travel through the beta + process with. I usually will be playing around 930 pm+ eastern time zone and all day on sat/sun About my me, Im an older player (37), I play a K.O.S (though 90% of time I get killed first :/), im a lootwhore (i love looking in EVERY BUILDING i see), do not care about your back ground (nationality etc), as long as you want to venture out and try and kill as many as possible and you have a sense of humor good or bad, we should get along. Yes. But. on the "KoS" I mean, so far in two days, Ive been killed 6 times, only once did I have anything more then an axe. So like DayZ mod, try and kill or be killed, it seems :). In my case, as i stated, Im old and not super skilled, but i love the game, so ima "try" and shoot them before they shoot me. It most likely will fail but w/e :)

Who you quoting? Cause i can promise you i said nothing of the sorts. Wait are you quoting a guy who hasn't been online in almost 7-10days? So, heres some facts for you. The first time Burro accused ME PERSONALLY of cheating, I invited him to hang out with me one night, and Kovan and I would SHOW HIM, exactly how we play.... Turned down. I offered a way to show even if LUNA wasn't a cheater (which as you found out, he was) he was bad for the community, but YOU and Burro let him stay. The VOTE passed him out: I offered AND DID put EVERYTHING me/clan did in our personal forums, so you could track us. Then Im dictated how I need to conduct myself, even though i said remove me from council.. I offered "suggestions" on how and why so many items where duped and how you could tell hackers: Fell on def ears and excuses made. I personally took claim for what was in the rules but called "griefing": (blowing up cars) Fell on def ears. My group was non stop targeted with BS accusations, which we proved wrong everytime: Finally in last 2 days, after ANOTHER miracle killing spree by an admins newbie flatmate: We fought fire with fire: Sorry, When you and burro even admitted you guys knew there was something up, and did nothing about, but continued to let BS happen, well at that point, we took matters into our own hands... HOW ODD that guys "cheating and hacking" never raided but the SAME 2-3 duper tents we told you we found, and it was "we know its an issue" How ODD we never killed anyone other then the last guy, we KNEW we were getting set up, that DIDN'T attack us first. How ODD we offered you ways to track us and find out how we play... Wow what a bunch of non stop hackers. You Sir have used a flawed logic. You didnt set anyone up. We were already DONE, when i posted i thought it was fcked up how Ted and others always seem to track us. i personally called you guys out, and not once did you have anything but some round about bs answer. So your logic is to go ask the guys Everyone SWORE wasnt cheating to help you cheat? LOL amazingly stupid. Hers a tip: You can see on your admin screen. Which you AND burro used. Guy logs in 3k south of you, and you head right to him. Reaching him with minutes after you log. Anti-hack found that out GG burro Guy logs in or comes to stary, spawns zombies, magically with sec zombies disappear and player kills a camped player: Fudge did that 2x: No hack needed or used to know thats BS Guy logs in magically in the middle of three players, ALL different names, ptich black 1000 meters around, is "smart" enough to wait around for 25 from 1st to 2nd kill, and knows to stay there for 3rd kill and few minutes later, logs out... No hack needed to know what happen there: "blind luck" ok Blind luck if it was the admins friend. And after that happened, yeah thats when someone went online to fight your bs antics with our own... Btw: You wanna globally ban me? Please try, because heres a SMALL bit of reality that should slap you in the face: I don't have any programs at all or never had any at all, i personally dont use scripts, hacks, duping. etc, but we tell who had what, or maybe you are to stupid to remember that? We told you who and how we tracked LUNA. Ill say it again when it was evident you, burro, luna, ted, cal: All of you use scripts/ admin panels to play dirty, then we just used the same things back to you guys.

I was one of the clan members banned. Though battle eye, anti hax, your logs w.e can not show where I have ever used any program at all. I'm not crying over getting banned, as I not going to deny, I know people in my group were using a simple firefox radar hack. But if you honestly believe Burro/ Drake, as well as quite a few others (lunawolfy/ted (burros roommate. a couple others) were NOT using hacks or map finders, then you are a serious fool. Simple logic in DAYZ: Good players / bad players / great players/ can not just magically track and kill on a low pop server, where MOST of you guys stay in the south in your safety nets. NON hacking players will always die in pvp, Hence until 2 days ago, when sure someone in my group used a radar hack to track TED / Fudge/ Sanatana (all which ALSO use hacks/ be it map radar OR the admin panel), why didnt we kill ANY of the rest of you guys? Why was it, in our 2 months there the ONLY people we killed shot at us first... Boy that is some serious hacking there. Why is it Luna/ FODDER(burro)/ Ted/ Cal / Fudge could log in for a short short period of time, find players. call them out by name, kill them, then just log off? (with no name plates in game btw) You think they were ThAT good? If you do, you deserve to play on that server. Why is it, BURRO and DRAKE knew Luna could track uids, and talked to them even though they were on different names and told no one who they were? Why was that allowed to happen. Why did BURRO admit he KNEW people were duping and hacking, and that a hacked tent up north was "a mistake" (was cals tent apparently) and nothing was done? Its simple. I will NOT deny the last day (after Ted (burros friend and roommate) just happened to log in between all of us, in the dark and knew where everyone was) No one on by name, but knew to wait almost 20 minutes to kill the last 2 clan mates. Me i was just a dumbass running wild, i deserved to die, one of our members got a radar. We then watched players run only to our tents and our hidden vehicles. Wierd why was that allowed to happen? After that sure we didnt care what happened to us, so we radar tracked Santana and fudge. No one in my clan will deny that. But the admins will sure as hell deny they did or knew any of their friends did anything wrong. And if you felt you were "out smarting" us, by trying to set us up, i must take one second to LOL, Hence the final touch to your BS ways to use your friends infamous closing line. If you are considering playing on PDR, know this, admins and their friends will use esp hacks and radar (via hacks or panel). I suggest you do what we did, fight fire with fire, get your OWN way of tracking them: The community is great for pve'rs and carebears who like to cry about anything and everything, hell i cried people were constantly crying! The rules are fair, though alot of people cried over that as well, so they might change as the admins are complete flip floppers, never figuring out wtf they really need to get done The stability is pure shit. Lots of 20-30 minute load times (though they got a new server this week end) They have a donation shop idea, but based on pricing, it looks like they are trying to pay themselves for hosting a free mod game. The players for the most part are p*ssies, but i think they are that way IRL too, but other than a small hand full, they are nice people. All in all, if you dont mind admin/friend(s) scripters and map hackers, and alot of qq in sc, great server, but you could play on a public server and not have to listen to SC. /shrug GL guys!

HsH - Hillside Hillbillies Is looking to start up a bandit group on an established RP server:(server in peak times runs dual servers/ single hive 100-120 people. Avg on super slow times 15-20 ppl) I am looking for bandits who want an extremely tough challenge as the rules on the server make playing bandit very hard. We currently have 5 members, looking to add 5-10 more total. Please read! :) What Im looking for: Players can play at 9/930pm eastern zone + Players that understand hit and run and guerrilla military style game play Players that want a challenge Players w. sense of humor/ aren't offended Players that dont mind qq'ers (alot of those on RP servers :/ ) Players that can use vent Most of all players that can follow rules Why RP? Alot of players lol at RP, I did too, until I tried out this server. What makes the server different and a complete challenge for bandits? Simple, there is no KOS/ murders. That means we MUST approach others to rob them/ kill them/ steal their vehicles. Its a unique challenge and actually makes the game alil more intense to play. Currently I play solo, and have to avoid cities, and move from site to site w/ caution. More realistic in some ways, making the game a bit more fun. (of course IRL there would be ppl that just killed others on site, but that would not be the norm) Thats why I stayed on this server. In addition, they have done a excellent job at keeping hackers/scripters at a minimum which is always nice. Playing on this server will challenge the simple idea of shoot 1st, or hide and shoot at a distance. That is easy, and any1 can do, but not any1 can actually step into a role of the game, where you actually have to THINK to play. Heres how it works. People have to be warned, Ie drop your weapons, stop your car etc.(Im looking for "harsh style people, as I am not nice when playing bandit) If they comply you rob them of w.e and send them on their way. (sounds boring, until it happens to you, then you see a whole different feel for game) If they dont comply, the laws of open survival take place. What i am looking for is like minded players that want to play in the hills. Set up road blocks, cut of pass-ways to cities like the nobors/ nwaf, track down vehicles, raid camps. Play a real style bandit. Not the players that stay in starter cities and kill ppl, that's a waste of time and really is for weak dick players. ideally i would like to find anywhere from 5-10 total members. If interested please pm here and I will give you more details, we can talk and see if we'd be a fit. About 2 bada$$ explorers you might not know so well. See it all started on a server called US 2725. And it’s a story about how me and my boy Kovan tried to stay alive. We had alittle idea to try out our new toys. Setting up snipe traps, boyz being boyz. Dropped off set up bus near the town of Prig. Got the target on lock, with the fingers on the trig. Waiting so patient, when will the first sucker come? 30 minutes pass and we got no one. About to pack it up and what do we see? Spawning on the coast line, a player in a ghillie. A quick scroll over looks like his name is PUZZ. We get all excited, hoping he’ll head to the bus. But then something happens, that now we can’t wait. Cause the first thing PUZZ did, was drop a “magic crate”. Baam baam baam we unload our clips. But just like in Predator we don’t hit shit. PUZZ takes off running and heads for the cover. A couple shots later Kovan ends all his trouble. Feeling pretty pumped, to body we go. But in the far distance we hear the Helo. 1800m out and closing in fast. Looks like its heading right toward our ass. Got my AS50 and im zeroing in. Popping off the rounds at a helo – players PUZZ and BKIN. 600-500-400 out. Hearts are pumping and were starting to shout. Into the helo goes 40 plus rounds. Trying to blow it up before it touches ground. The shots look like they are landing almost every one. But the helo still flying and popping off its gun. Lands in the field at 400m to the south. Then BKIN disappears as he jumps out. We ask each other “man wtf is the deal” We unloaded on that heli like it was unreal. Seconds later Kovan turns to run to fight another day. When BKIN tele ports to his face to stand in his way. BOOM pistol rattles off a shot: 1 shot 1 kill. I alt 4 cause vs hackers I lack the skill. Everything told in the story is accurate and tru. So if you see PUZZ and BKIN know they’ll try and f*ck you…. Peace Out Homies! LOL Maybe they hacked? Maybe we're just bad... The World Will Never Know...

is this server up? I see it in my list (not as pw protected though) and it has the 10000/ red cant join deal.. I tried anyways and sits on "waiting for host" for over 2 minutes.. please advise ty

been trying it out recently.. 30/30 usually full which is cool.loads fast which is cool. seems like itll be fun to play on. Only thing to new players starting there. LOTS of spawn campers. Sometimes ya barely make it off the shore line before some1 kills ya... Good news for them.. Keeps us noobs from stealing all the hatchets!

Ok I know I know I know, b4 the thread is flooded with "thats a hacked gun" or all the "I only play legit" liars.... BY FAR my favorite gun / combo / fun time usage: AKS : For those who have not seen this... No stock GOLD AKS, Its sound is awesome, its look is awesome, and you feel like a John Matrix running through the forest and into major cities with an AKS--camo/solider gear--no pack--little gear: Gun, rounds, 1 piece meat, 1 soda, 1 morph, 1 pain pills, 1 NVG and GOOD LUCK on living long! Ppl see your gold and you go right to top of the KOS list lol, "he must be a bandit or hacker or both" Mainly because there's no way a non hacking player can loot a hacker camp or weapon crate to use a weapon that the DAYZ team repeatedly has said you CAN NOT get banned for USING these items.

Any1 else having this issue: We watch our server close. Today we found a player who some how had a "hacked body" and 15 more copies of it standing at the gas pump. So like any admin should we restarted the server. We like to do 2x restarts to ensure ppl get tents back (usually works) and vehicles respawn. Now the server issue. We had other admin "friends" that restart their servers(not using this service, hence the post here) ALOT and they can restart AND play in less then a 5-10 minutes time frame... We restart our server and sometimes cant log back in for an hour. Seriously? Please help if you same issue OR if you have a suggestion of what I might be doing worng on my end. Here's my opinion on that gun. Which as in all opinions you can take it how you want... First off, its been said over and over that these said "hacked guns" are NOT bannable via battle eye, and that admins CAN NOT (I have server) ban you for USING these types of weapons. So again to all the posters saying drop it before we admins/community ban you. We cant... Next the ups and downs of that weapon: Which after reading these, you will see the down side WAY out ways the upside. The 1st and IMO most important. That gun is designed for "true snipers" Meaning they take a gun/ ammo/ MAYBE 1 food and drink. They stay in one spot and dont move till they log. I say this because you can not use it with your pack, as you found out. So having anything extra is useless. The scope is awesome IF you can figure out the range meter built in. UP Its super quiet for a sniper rifle, allowing you to snipe in areas a DMR/ AS50 cant. UP You will rarely if ever find the ammo it uses. Alot of "hacked weapons" can use reg ammo. This gun uses its own type of ammo.. Unless this has recently changed and you can use 107 shells? DOWN If you are a sniper, you shouldnt need to be up close and near zombie areas anyways, which makes this gun completely useless. DOWN The DMR is great and so is the AS50 both out way this gun by alot. DOWN *Now if you wanna look kinda bad ass. Get camo gear, OR hope you stumble on a camp with "solider" gear. Equip a few casings of rounds. Equip 1 water / 1 food / 1 morph (JUST incase zombies do hear ya.. Theyll of course break your legs and bleed ya...ESPECIALLY Myth Buster ADAM Zombie.. F*ck You Myth Buster ADAM Zombie) Get on a bike. Ride through town ringing the bell no1 can hear. Set up and kill ppl. If you just wanna be smart. Id do what we did.. Tent it and forget you have it, unless youre REALLY bored, then said actions should take place* Hope that helps! ~Ceno!

No matter how many different ways (explorer/ firefox/ etc) I log in to your home page, it never has the word phrase, which of course means i can not sign up... Hello, We are two friends, fairly new to DAYZ (about 2-3 weeks in) looking for a few ppl to round out a group. Currently we are RL 34, 35 year old, old school gamers. We play through out the day, as right now time affords us to do that. Soon though we will be back to the job grind and will be playing around 8pm+ east zone. About us (game wise) and what we hope to find. We are not bandits, but we play like bandits ( we never get the titles. Maybe we die to much?). We "rabbit hunt" ppl, blow up buildings, blow up ppls vehicles, do alot of trying to fix up vehicles just to lose them, we do some sniper camping, and pretty much as much destructive non hacked things as we can. What I would like to find in players. Have your own gear,( personally I dont care were/how you got your stuff. Read the forums, read the information about what is banable. If it IS banable offense dont do it, If it is NOT all goes. The game has to many banable hackers and bugs to worry about where you got your gear/camp). Playing with us, you will DIE, we die as much as we kill things. Have a sense of humor, with no offense level. We joke around alot, but we arent looking for jerks that are non stop racist, poor sense of humor, or QQ over everything and anything, Be able to play for sure after 9pm east. If you can play through out the days awesome, right now so can we. We are just out having fun and waiting for WARZ.
