  • Reworked the simulation of vehicles, greatly impacting their general behavior
  • Tweaked vehicle simulation parameters on surfaces for vehicles
  • Added a warning red line to the cooling water temperature in the vehicle HUD
  • Reduced the speed of the player when running up/down steep terrain
  • Increased the inertia of the character when accelerating
  • Character slows down more when running turns
  • Character running speed is slowed down in medium water levels
  • 40mm smoke grenades now bounce off of wooden and metal surfaces and deal damage on impact
  • It is no longer required to aim to the ground to empty a liquid container
  • Fish, hares and chicken can no longer be skinned using the Mosin bayonet

  • Reduced the chance of weapons jamming by about 50% to account for damaged magazines now appearing more often
  • Slightly increased brightness of the scene during daylight and reduced the difference between overcast and clear days
  • It is now possible to untie another player with bare hands

  • Tweaked the lights distance and brightness for the headtorch and flashlight types

KNOWN ISSUES

Console 1.19 Update 2 - Version 1.19.155418 (Released on 26.10.2022)

GAME

FIXED

  • Crawling off the edge of a higher object could glitch the character alignment
  • The character could get launched into the air when changing stances close to objects
  • It was not possible to crawl up steep slopes
  • The character could get stuck when walking backwards along walls
  • In certain situations, the screen would stutter while sprinting sideways (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T168133)
  • Burying some items could result in a tilted pile of dirt
  • The character could get stuck behind opened doors
  • Activating a heat pack in prone would play the drinking animation
  • Dialing the number on a combination lock in prone would play the chemlight animation instead

  • Fixed an exploit to glitch the character through walls
  • Ladders in tight spaces might have had issues with climbing
  • Infected were not properly de-spawning from convoys on Livonia
  • Throwing items could lead to a character glitch
  • It was possible to glitch the character when exiting a ladder while running out of stamina
  • The glowplug was visible and accessible through the closed hood of the M1025
  • The trigger of the SSG 82 did not move when triggered (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T168269)
  • The inventory scrolling would reset to the top at every re-opening (https://feedback.bistudio.com/T168060)
  • Inventory button helpers were overlapping with the stamina and status indicators
  • If the inventory focus was on an item in a container in the hands slot, it would not properly reset on re-opening

omg when bohemia finally realizes that the main bug that needs to be fixed is transparent walls, every player uses this, it’s impossible to fight, the desire to fight with the players disappears

What? I’ve been playing since 1.2 and I’ve never encountered this issue.

observation through the walls was not corrected, our entire clan of 20 people left the dayz. fix observation through walls and ejection while driving a car - no, add blood on the screen when injured - yes😅

Love the changes to inertia, movement feels nice like your character actually has weight, although I’d prefer more inertia. Great update

Have you change the sensitivity on the movements? I feel like it’s very clunky and slow and delay. Try to sneak around, but my character always stops. Doesn’t feel smooth as before. Anybody know why this change?

They finally fixed the inventory when you press RT,LB but now when you don’t what to se what’s in your weapon when it is on your shoulder in the inventory, when you press RS Open/Close container to see less it’s don’t save now when you take your gun in your hand or drop it you need to press RS again. Some loot on the ground doesn’t show up in vicinity. 
 

I wonder when they’re going to talk about the movements, the Youtubers if it’s good or bad. I’m not a fan but some baby like it. I like to crouch sneak, but my character always stops when I try to move I was feel like you have a bad connection.

I'm enjoying this update so far. Tried punching a mummie zombie in Svetlo with my fists, it hurt, backed up and decided to headshot it 4-5 times with my .380 pistol, still didn't kill it but made it walk slower, got too close on accident again an had to use a rag to bandage, ran back into town, got 2 tetras, ran out of town, heard a guy start blasting an AK in town, kept running away to Cernaya Polana, blood sickness got bad enough at that point for my health to start going down, thought it was game over, then stumbled on a dead guy who someone obviously looted but left 5 tetras on him. Took 3 more of them and somehow got over the blood sickness, then had a brief fight with dehydration before cooking inside a house while it was dark and raining and visiting a spooky castle. The challenge was real.

I've been playing a long time too and I've recently discovered it. I don't play with scummy players so wouldn't naturally have encountered it that way.

It has absolutely ruined the integrity of any gun fight in a town, especially. It's rife.

Basically, there's a technique to press yourself into a wall and see through it. The bonus being, all the map assets don't load either, so you can see players unhindered through everything as far as you can see.

It's common for one player in a group to relay positions to their pals and mop up everyone in the area.

It's hard to spot but there are tell tale signs. Now I know how to do it, it's very easy to see other people doing it and how common it is.

I wish I never discovered it.

The cat is well and truly out of the bag. It now needs attention to get it fixed.

I feel vehicles are much worse than before. In the past I have had maybe 2 times in the span of a year where they would begin bouncing then fly off into space. Today, Oct. 25, 2022 within 30 minutes while driving the vehicle fell underground 2 different times, began bouncing randomly to the point I was doing flips around a small area, and randomly heard a crash noise 2 different times then after driving on got dragged back to where I heard the crash noise and thrown into a tree and later a guardrail. Yesterday Oct. 24,2022, within 3 hours fell underground 4 times, bouncing around and doing flips to the point I couldn’t drive again, and randomly hearing a crash noise then being drug back and thrown into an object next to where the noise happened. I don’t understand what was changed so much that these issues are now happening when before they rarely ever happened to me. Until it’s fixed I can say I will not be enjoying the new Humvee or any other vehicle for that matter.

So there's no fix to the "build anywhere" settings? We can't stack walls or anything like we used to in 1.18 and earlier updates.

@Kyiara @lynn.zaw fix a bug with weapons. for example “you are running across the map and suddenly you see an enemy and you want to sit down and at the same time enter the scope for the kill, but with the release of patch 1.19 the character cannot quickly sit down and enter the scope, because the weapon is retracted to the side. Also, if you lie down quickly and enter the scope, it will not aim”With the release of patch 1.19, this happens very often, because of which it is impossible to kill the enemy.In patch 1.18, this was very rare, is it possible to fix this?
