Frame Rate Drops Over Time

Recommended Posts

FPS will drop over time. When I first start playing, FPS will be great at a stable 60. Then after 10 minutes or so it drops to 20 FPS no matter where I am, in a city or in the middle of nowhere. FPS will go back to normal after restarting DayZ, then same thing happens. Is there a fix for this?

i get this too but in my case it starts out around 80-120 in 4k and after about an hour or 2 its at 35-40 or lower. its like the fps is just leaking out of the game. idk why.

have the same issue.
i7 6700k, GTX 1070, 16gb ram and SSD.

Starts off at 70 fps in novo with zombies spawned and then slowly drops to 25 fps no matter where you are in the map.

Surprised we aren't seeing more info on this. I suppose it is not wide spread. Despite my testing pointing to it being a game problem, I can't help but be concerned about it being on my end.

yea i know and still no fix for it either. i would have thought that this would have had some sort of fix by now as the straight up memory crashes were fixed not that long ago. Still got no idea why it's happening.
