When i play and use WASD buttons to move BUT When i run forward with “W” key i cant stop right after release – character stops after about 5sec-30sec It ruins game for me.. I switched up into “UP” key and it works normally without any issues.. Ive succesfully reinstalled game and still my character cant stop after runing with W .. I died lot of times becouse of it so pls help me if u have any ideas what should i do .. Greets to all Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
GaryWalnuts 1680 Posted January 25, 2017 I would check your settings and confirm that your W key isn't bound to a secondary action. If that doesn't work I would delete the file that saves your keybinds: C:\Users\(your_username)\Documents\DayZ\(your_username).DayZProfile Shut down Dayz then delete that file above. The next time you start up DayZ a fresh new default file will be created. You'll lose a few of your settings but if you were already willing to do a full reinstall, then what the heck it's worth a try. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I occasionally also have "autorun" seems to happen when sync with server is interrupted, I can always solve it by pressing my run key again (in my case that is right mouse button - I always remap key assignments) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
