If you want to choose an armband of a certain colour you can share that in PM... gives us an extra tell in the event we stumble into one another. eno 1049 Posted July 12, 2016 (edited) Yeah we've pretty much just ignored vehicles unless we find one that's almost complete and have missing parts on us. even then vehicles are in a state that is barely playable. The desync from anything but the drivers position is just idiotic, and watching a vehicle from a distance (i.e.: 50ft or more) renders only the husk of an unfinished vehicle with no driver or passenger until you get closer than that. Vehicle on vehicle is as clunky and awkward as Irish on Irish porn and the mechanics of actually driving a vehicle what with the status of tires etc is embarrassingly bad. philbur 476 Posted August 14, 2016 Was anyone on last night? I was, and would like to know if you guys (about 8 others at one point) had the same weather. It was raining heavily inland from the coast for a good while, and then gave way to thick fog from Berezino all the way to the far West edge of the coast. Seemed like I could cut it with a knife, and it was immensely cool. I have lived on the East Coast of Canada and remember when the fog would roll in like this and I had a ball running around Cherno for a good hour or so just popping Infected and making a ruckus. Hell, I even got lost in the city a few times because of the lack of visibility! I do indeed hope to see more of this (really accurate) weather modelling in-game. It even seems like the sounds were heavily muted on the server, which maybe was just my perception, but none the less was pretty damn immersive. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
eno 1049 Posted October 7, 2016 Hey folks. Not sure if this will catch anyone's attention or not. Our pop is down and most of the Helpy Helpers have been in hibernation. We're going to be pulling the server down in about a week. Our billing date is October 15 so I expect we'll have it down on the 14th. We'll be posting server messages to that effect to give people plenty of time to pick up their camps. .60 got uber stale with terrible vehicle performance and reliability in terms of the spawning / sync and it was tough to stay motivated as the pop started to drop system wide. I have a new mobo and will get that in in a few weeks. My guess is I will start playing when the server gets back ;-) Hopefully before that though. With winter coming I will have more time available.
