Kiwiyellow5 16 Posted August 7, 2015 There is vodka like everywhere in Russia. I think that vodka should be able raise hydration level and be able to negate pain temporarily. Vodka should be very common and spawn everywhere. It would be a good drink for those that arent near water wells. That "factory" building, up by Vybor? That is the location of Chernarus' own local vodka distillery, "Bardak and Sons". http://dayz.gamepedia.com/Vodka_Distillery I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Bardak-brand vodka in-game eventually. Granted I've never seen any of them...They're in the game files, but it doesn't really mean anything. There's also the Skorpion, a knight helmet, a golden desert eagle, a UH-1Y helicopter, GP-25 and M203 grenade launchers, and all of the upcoming vehicles in the files - the GP-25 and M203 have been in there since release and probably won't be happening anytime soon. However, it isn't unreasonble to presume that most of them will make it in at some point. Either way, there's no way they haven't talked about it (alcohol has been suggested time and time again) so I'm sure vodka is in DayZ's future. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

When you drink alcohol, and when you get drunk, what happens is the alcohol makes your blood vessels dilate, which moves blood closer to the skin, making you feel warmer (note: this is why drunk people have a tendency to remove clothing. That, and lowered inhibitions) However, you aren't actually getting warmer, you just feel warmer. By moving blood closer to the skin, your body actually gives off heat faster to the outside environment. This lowers your core temperature, and coupled with the removal of clothing, cold external temperature, being wet, etc, can lead to severe hypothermia pretty quickly. Don't drink and survive, friends!
